I love anime more than manga. For me to read a manga, the story has to be really good. But generally I like seeing the characters and everything move, hear them talk, see them in color, etc. I especially love it when they give the anime a cinematic treatment (like Death Note). The manga doesn't even compare when they produce the anime that way XD

I don't usually watch anime so I'll say Manga.

In most cases, that manga has a better story line and original character development. But, on the other hand, there are some cases where the anime is actually better than the manga series itself. I would give examples but I can't think of anything off the top of my head. (I have a headache :( )

It depends.
If it's Shoujo like Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club, then I usually like the manga better, although I still really enjoy the anime.
But if it's Shonen like Naruto or Bleach, I just prefer the anime. One Piece is an exception to that. I started reading the manga and it's the first Shonen manga that I've enjoyed.

I prefer Manga. I don't watch anime that much but I do read a lot of manga. I have a big manga collection as well.

Manga is so much better. Anime has crappy voices, choppy editing and it usually ruins the manga that it is trying to reproduce. There is much more to the imagination with manga that anime usually ruins. It's like turning a book into a movie.

On the other hand, original animes are amazing, such as Cowboy Bebop, Rahxephon, Last Exile, etc but are horrible when made into manga.

I do like both manga and anime but i don't watch any anime on TV like from 4Kids, WB or cartoon network, i only watch the anime i own. Anime has to be subbed there are rarely are animes that i watch dubbed and the voice acting had better be good. Otherwise i watch anime online on the several websites. manga i don't own a lot of but i read i majority of it online as well and keep up to date, such as with bleach and naruto tired of waiting for the anime so now i ahead of the series instead. :) it all depends if i can stand to watch many episodes or read them:)

Usually I prefer the manga, seeing as that's the original story, but when the manga's badly drawn, doesn't make sense or I'm bored with it, I'll usually swap to the anime... might not be the same as manga, but at least you don't have to bother eading it unless you have subtitles. :P

But I enjoy imagining voices and movements and things in my own head, I think it helps enhance my creative side... xD But anime's always good if you want it easy or are looking for animated violence :lol:

i prefer manga much more! ^^ usually the original story comes from a manga,
and is then adapted to anime, so the quality might be a little less, or things like that..
but i guess it depends, animes can be better if the story was made to be in an anime,
and usually it is not as exciting as reading in manga ^^ but i do like reading more xD ;;

I prefer the manga over anime. Just like novels to movies, the movies always leave out good parts and add some stuff for show. Same for anime, I guess. I can name a few animes that left good parts of the manga out and added in some episodes that weren't in the manga.
However, I suppose it's anime that usually draws people into a series (well, in some cases that is)

Well, I prefer manga.
Probably because I get to pick what kind of a voice to give who and also the storyline makes more sense and it's drawings are original. The person who draws the anime is different from the person who draws the manga. Take fullmetal alchemist for instance, the anime drawings are much different from the person who draws the manga. I like manga better also because it lasts longer. Once again, take fullmetal alchemist for instance, the anime's already ended but the manga is still going strong! I like manga much much better. But that's just my opinion. ^^

I like anime because it has so much more detail and i feel it helps me connect to the characters a lot better. But, As you mentioned, Anime sometimes leaves out a lot of details. Which is annoying in some cases when it's things that are actually important to the main storyline. Otherwise, If it's just smaller details that didn't matter, i enjoy anime.

But, since I'm a major book worm, i love reading Manga. Unfortunately, it doesn't last as long as the anime does. I can usually read an average manga in about half an hour, give or take depending on how often i stopped to oggle the lovely artwork.

So, I think I'm stuck on the fence a little bit about this one. I love both really. ;)

I enjoy reading manga more than watching anime.
I like it when the anime is dubbed.

I love Anime but sometimes it takes to long to get to the point that I get angry
about it, then again maybe that's why we all keep watching Anime in the first place just for the moments that are really eyes catching =3.

:angel: As for Manga I think I like that even more then Anime because you can read a head of the show you are watching to see what is going to happen before anyone else does but even if I read the books I still will watch the Anime as well
sometimes you just have to hear what people spund like and sometimes they have the weirdest voices that just make you laught till you can't take it anymore

that's what I think anyway so out of the two I would have to pick Anime since I've only started to read Mange over the past six months and watching tv is like one of my fave thinks to do :).

well i love both but ill say anime bcause am use to anime and also manga but its just that i´ve grown with it you know ?¿? , and well i like anime because its preatty fun and i like manga because it fun to read and its fun to imagine it for you self !!!
