I love this series. xDDD It doesn't seem as if it has a particularly good plot line or anything (Infact, there's prettymuch no plotline. The way the manga is written makes me think that the manga-ka is just making it up as she goes along.), but the story is just so cute!

I love her chibis, espcially in volume two. Kyoko is so cute as a chibi! x3

I think the large handmotions and strange poses are great in this manga. It really convey's Kyoko's emotions well, especially when she's pissed. xD;

I've read up to volume 8 or something online, and I own volumes one and two. >.< I need to save up money and buy the rest of the volumes.

I hate Sho. </3 Ren's awesome though. This series needs to be more popular. ^^

I thought the series was good, however I have read too many series like it before that. (so of course it gets boring a bit for me.) The series is pretty good though.

I read the series this series in the summer of 2007, so I haven't read the updated chapters or anything, but I am up to the part when he's going to tell her something when she's in her costume thing if I remember correctly...*can't remember very well* I'll probably find time to read it later, once I'm done watching all these dramas my friend has recommended me ><;;

I've read up to volume 4, and right now, I love it! XD. It's such a good manga- I can never wait to find out what happens next. Unfortunately, the library doesn't like me, and it takes forever to come in- which means I have to wait longer than I'd like to find out what happens next. :(.

i read the first few books, then gave up, i remember it being good, but I had too many manga to read when it came out. Maybe I should go back and read it now.

I love that manga...i readin it every month*have such a manga magazine where skip beat is published in it.
Last month ren realized that she fall in love with kyoko,and she trys to help him to play the role in the remake dark moon*or was it another name donkt now...shame one me*...

I wonder whether there is an anime and then if it is so then how different is it from the manga.

I would love if kyoko would realized that ren is that boy that she liked as she was a lil girl...and that sho would get´s depressions from that ,that ren and kyoko would be togehter... :twisted:

I love following ren so much cause he was an interesting character, but I like having the main character so indecisive, but she is still strong.

I love Skip Beat. I find Kyoko's actions very funny. The manga is probably in my top 5 shoujo mangas. The Anime is pretty good too but sort of rushed.

There are parts in the plot, like the love me section, that seem to be forgotten later on. It starts focusing on one part of the story and then hops to something completely different. There are a lot of good little stories in it but I just wish everything connected together a bit better.

Skip Beat is my current favorite manga to read! I know that the theme of this manga is a bit similar to its counterpart mangas in the same genre.. but i find this manga interesting and unique because of how intricate and complex they made the characters! its NOT as predictable as one can see! And the love triangle is unique because of its love-hate relationship there.

Plus, i also find the other characters in the story a lot interesting.. plus the latest chapters are starting to be exciting! its definitely one of the mangas I would recommend. X3

i love Skip Beat! it was soo funny reading the first volume of this manga! <3 it's such a unique story too! i've never heard of this storyline where the girl wants to be famous to outshine the guy she gave her life to while he became famous and just forgot about her! i loved how it was funny and wasn't too serious~ ^^ and amazingly, this story was even a great anime! <3

Not a huge fan myself, but my friend is. She has all the current volumes that have come out in america. She made me read them the other week.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. At first I thought it would be a pointless manga that I wouldn't like, but then after volume 3, I started to love it.. and now I keep reading it and can't wait for the next volume to arrive at the library*Puts books on hold*

I have to say I like ren better than sho, so I hope Kyoko ends up with him. It really is a sweet/funny manga.

Skip Beat is one of my favorite manga at the moment. It's the one that I'm really following regularly. Kyoko is just so fun. I love watching her grow and be a dork and just amuse me.

I wonder if she'll ever admit that she likes Tsuruga Ren. I wonder if Shou will ever fess up that he really does care for her. I can't wait for the answers! I wish the manga chapters came out faster, like certain shounen titles that come out weekly. But then, Skip Beat chapters are better, so I guess I can wait the extra time for better quality, even if it drives me crazy with anticipation!

I love Skip Beat! It's one of the few shoujo manga that I've read and actually loved.

My favorite character is Kyoko, the lead singer from Vie Ghoul, and the guitarist or some other from Vie Ghoul. Forgot his name, but he was the one with long hair; reminds me of Yazoo from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children XD

The last few chapters had me rolling around in my chair laughing, the Valentine chapters are just epic! Especially Beagle's chocolate with the giant "HATE" etched in the middle of it XD

I feel really sorry for Tsuruga, having to put up with Kyoko's complete obliviousness to his feelings. Granted, he's not the greatest at showing them, but poor guy. I wonder what Kyoko got him for his birthday. I hope it makes up for his lack of chocolates!

I love it! But I haven't read it in a while, I should start. It's so interesting though! I love watching Kyoko find herself, in a way, and get better and better at acting.

skip beat is hilarious. one of my favorite shoujo series. i love how kyoko acts i enjoy watching those scenes. and then there's also the bishies in the series. has anyone read the latest chapter?
and i hope they have a 2nd series for the anime. they better since all the good parts were about to show up.
ren + kyoko + sho, i don't really know who i want kyoko to be with. i love both those boys. i'm looking forward to see who kyoko ends up with or if she ends up with anyone

It'll probably be Ren. Kyoko loathes Sho too much but she does like Ren, and Ren's also her childhood 'fairy prince' friend Corn, though she (still) doesn't know that yet. I personally like Beagle, but I don't suppose he has any chance other than getting another 'HATE' chocolate. :XD

You just like the Beagle cause he reminds you of Sephiroth XD

I'm sure Kyoko will end up with Ren, but I won't discount the possibility that Sho could somehow win her back. He knows her. He can try to get into her good graces again.
