Has anyone else ever read the Kitchen Princess series and/or Zodiac PI by Natsumi Ando? What do you think of these series if you have heard of and read them? I think they are the best thing ever. These books are something you will want to read over and over again. I have read them over 20 times! It's amazing! They're the best!

I've read some of the Zodiac PI series.
It was my friend's book and I really liked it, but it's been years since I've seen it.
How many books are in the series now?

As for Kitchen Princess, I've never really heard of it.
What's it about and do you know who owns it?

There are four books in the Zodiac PI series. So far, the same goes for the Kitchen Princess series. There will be more of the Kitchen Princess series coming out. The next one comes out in Febuary. Ok, well Kitchen princess is about a girl with the absolute sense of taste. If she eats something once she can recreate it with the exact same taste from memory. She leaves an orphanage [her parents died when she was little and they were world famous pastry chiefs.] to attend this prestigous academy and she is placed in the special class due to her unique ability. The reason she goes to the school is so that she can find her prince charming because when she was little a boy once cheered her up by giving her flan and all she has to remember him is a spoon with a special like emblem on the handle. She finds out that that is the spoon that only people at the academy have. The only people who can give the spoons would be the owners sons but there are two boys so she figures one of them is her prince. That's pretty much the jist of it. Also as extras to the book they have recipes at the back of the book.

That series sounds adorable!
Cinderella searching for her prince charming.
Who wrote the series, I'm really going to have to look into it.

The same person who wrote Zodiac PI, Natsumi Ando. Both of these are the best ever that's what I think. I also think that Natsumi Ando is the best manga artist ever. It is better than Clamp, even though Clamp is great. You gotta love Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa.

I loved Zodiac P.I. The artwork was really good(although it seems that, unfortunately, that artist seems to like to rip off Arina Tanemura's style. :(.), and the plot was amazingly good, as well. I also enjoyed what I read of Kitchen Princess. I've only read book one, but I look forward to reading the rest of it. I want to know what happens next. :). In my opinion, it's not as good as Zodiac P.I. was, but then again, I haven't read all of it. :). It may be, for all I know.

Ah I'm so glad this topic exists.

My younger sister owns all of Zodiac PI and while I thought it was cute, the story seemed a little forced for some reason.

Kitchen Princess on the other hand.. I'm totally hooked!! I bought the current 4 volumes in less than a week and just devoured them. And now I'm kicking myself because I'm going to have to wait FOREVER to get the next volume.

And yes.. I think Sora is definitely planning something. (Sneaky...)

@suppi - yeah they only have 4 out which is kind of depressing. Oh, well volume 5 comes out in Febuary.

@Javert - Really? I've never heard of Arina Tanemura. What manga's did she create? I still love both of them :D

@Vii - I think you should. :D It's great.

@fiarra - I know what you mean it takes forever for the next volume to come out. Febuary :D Don't you just love the recipes in the back? I do.

@Bunnyy - I can find them at the local library but I can't find them in stores. How weird.
