T'is an awesome series that has enough gore, funny-ness-ness, and awesome cliffhangers at the end. o_o Plus, Rika and Hanyuu are adorable. *squee*

Yup yup. :3 But then my other friend said that she likes the first opening because it matches the series more... Creepy-ish... But then the second opening reversed.. 8D

I liked the 13th episode and when Hanyuu transfered to the school. :3nod: There was another episode I liked, but then, I forgot it. Though I loved that part where Hanyuu was mad and confronted Takano with that speech. 8)

I am still on the first season.
The series is so addicting even though it is horribly scary. (probably the most scary anime series that I have ever seen. Worst than Ringu.) I love the characters legs. So small and cute. The opening is probably one of the reason why the series is such a huge hit. The opening is such amazing. It matches very well with the series. I should finish the first season before I start spazzing about it. haha. I hope the best for this town's lost.

Is it ping pong? I thought of it as "hau hau hauuuu"... Something like that. But if I can... I'd like to be Hanyuu's voice actor. :lol: I like it when she goes all Oyashiro-sama mode and her voice goes from adorable to sexy. :3

I love the series so much. I'm not to fond of Kai thought, not sure why. I'll still watch it anyway. My favorite characters are Rena and Keiichi. I like the dub also. xD

D: I thought the dub was horrid... No offense to the voice actors...

The third season is Umineko. o_o I just downloaded the first chapter and now I lost the file. ._.

Higurashi is definitely one of my favorite series of all time. C:

Hanyuu's voice is made of epic win. o uo; I love her voice over. Wiiiiin.

I never thought the openings were creepy. o wo; Especially not Kai's. The only "creepy" parts there were replaced with Hanyuu, to my dismay. DD: Speaking of Hanyuu, why does she get red pupils? They clash with her eyes. o 3o (And if you think they openings are creepy FORWARDS, try playing them BACKWARDS, specifically Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. e we;; That's not what you should be listening to when it's dark and you're the only one in your room. Specifically not when you're listening to it on youtube. Scary Rena picture is scary...)

Favorite episode...? Hands down, the last one. xD I loved when Hanyuu spoke over the intercom and when mystery lady popped up. (I don't know if it's older Rika or Frederica, but I'm starting to think that it was Frederica. e we;;)

I want to play all of the Higurashi games and read all of the visual novels so baaad. ; 3; Too bad I don't know a lick of Japanese unless it's like...um, I forgot what it's called. When the syllables have their own symbol...like "hi" would have its own, "gu" would have its own, "ra" would have its own, etc. >w<;

I hope I'm allowed to post in this...it's been months since it's last been posted it. e we;; But I don't see why I wouldn't be allowed to...hauuu...

I still haven't managed to finish watching the first season~ ^u^;; I got up to episode... 21, I think. The torturing parts really, really squick me. XP I had to stop watching 'cause I got a little panicky halfway through the episode. XD

I'm thinking I ought to start watching it again, though - it was a really good anime, and I want to see the second season.

It's a great anime to show to friends -they screened it at my uni's anime society, but deliberately skipped the first part of the first episode (the part where you see Keiichi kill Rena and Mion [whited out in case anyone hasn't seen it~]), so everyone was wondering why we were watching a run-of-the-mill school-life anime. And then they got freaked out by Rena. XD
