Has anyone every seen this anime? Its one of my all-time favorites. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you do. Its very interesting, I would say. Even so, many people find it boring since everything goes by sort of slowly.

I think I saw it one night by accident, I fell asleep on the couch watching some movie on YTV, and I woke up to that...it was rather dark for a anime...I don't watch anime, but I thought it was all light and fluffy...guess not.

Haha. Yeah. Its a pretty dark anime, but I still love it. I actually found out about it almost the same way that you did. I was watching InuYasha on tv and after it was over, I wasn't sleepy still (it was about 1 am), so I decided to stay awake and watch whatever was on. I really liked it right then and there. It was a bit creepy that time though since it was all dark and just me at my house and the anime is like a horror/mystery show.

I used to watch it, yeah.
When it was on AdultSwim,
but I haven't seen it on
there for awhile now.

Is it still running?
Cause I liked it, was
always right before Cowboy Bebop
another of my faves.

I caught a couple episodes of it, and I liked what I saw, however I never saw it again.

Want to post the main plot? When I saw it, I'm not sure how far into the season they were, and it was a few years ago... I just remember Robin, and me liking her hair.

My sister owns the box set, but I don't think I ever finished the series, I should go and rewatch it sometime.

I just caved in and watched the whole series recently.

I liked it, but found it to be terribly depressing. And such an unfinished ending! Grr.

I used to watch witch hunter robin often... when the series came out I'd missed most of the series but caught the last few episodes... so I waited for the re-air of the series... and as it went to episode 18, it got replaced by a show called aqua teen hunger force... which is a total and complete waste of time... so I've seen the beginning and the end of the series, but there are a small handful of episodes that have escaped me... shame really, because I found the series awesome...

I watched all of it in one sitting recently. I loved the series. It was cool and all the characters were interesting. I wish there was a second season with more of a resolution. I liked Amon and Robin but there was like a ten year difference betweem them which was a bit weird. It was a lot darker than most animes but it was still very good, one of my favourite.

I was introduced to Witch Hunter Robin when it came out on Cartoon Network. I sat through every episode, begging for more. I loved the storyline.

It kind of reminded me of X-Files for otaku...

The whole anime only consists of 26 episodes

The main plot, of course, sorrounds Robin's life. Its basically just about a secret witch-hunting organization in Japan called the STN-J (I'm not sure what STN stands for but the J is for Japan). Robin, came into the organization from Italy. The first few episodes were just about different witches they hunted. By the middle of the anime though, the "main" plot begins. This is when Robin confesses why she really came to STN-J and it tells you what STN-J really is about. I don't want to say much more because I feel like I will spoil it =)

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner...

I sort of wish there was a second season to it too to explain more about how STN changed without Robin and Amon. Still, I feel that if there is a second season, it wouldn't be as great and sort of ruin the whole Witch Hunter Robin feel and flow, I guess you can say.

It's one of my favorite anime too. I sort of hoped they made it into a manga though. Its just fun to be able to read the whole story =).

It stopped running after they finished airing the whole series on Adult Swim. I don't really even think they repeated it at least once more. It never laster more than a year on air.

YES! it's one of my ultimate-favorite anime ever! it's one of the few that I'm able to watch more than once and still find it interesting. I love it!

Amon's my favorite character :D

I liked Witch Hunter Robin...it was unique and pretty cool. I just didn't like how the ending went. Sometimes I like ending like that, but sometimes...I just don't. Witch Hunter Robin was one of those endings. So was Blood+, now that I think about it. It was like...you watch the series for so long and then at the very end they let you down.

I had so many questions that needed answering! And there could have been so much more character development...

Overall, however, the plot was still magnificent.

The ending was a little "unfinished" I guess but it made it very interesting.

I have seen Witch Hunter Robin and like it. <3
The only thing that bothered me was at the end where Amon and Robin show their affection for each other only than. >.<

Before the anime came out in America, I got a shirt back of it from Otakon. I couldn't wait till it came out. Once it did I didn't miss an episode. Then I had to record the last episode. My tape messed up and there was no sound. I cried and cried. I just recently saw it online. Yayness?

So I have to say that this was the first collection I ever own. I went to three states to find my collection. I just stumbled over them. Totally Cool! Does anyone else like this anime collection? There are only 26 episodes. Great Stuff.

Witch Hunter Robin is great! Yeah, it can be a bit slow at some parts, and I think it's funny that they all wear the same clothes all the time, but it's an awesome series.

Compared to some of what I have seen, Witch Hunter Robin isn't dark at all. xD

Ruroni Kenshin movie was kinda gruesome, and I don't even define that as dark.
