Okay so I know a few that like this sorta thing.
Also, I know a lot that prefer the lesser graphic shonen-ai and shojo-ai (I don't think I spelt those right xP)
So what do you preferr? Personally, I love yaoi over all the others and shonen-ai is my second fave. ^^;;

I'm not for anything too overly hardcore. I suppose It would be shonen-ai, yaoi, shojo-ai, yuri; if I had to put them in an order. But then, anything works.

Eh, I like shounen-ai and yaoi, but I'm not that much of a yuri fan. I stumbled across it while reading fan fiction one time, and decided I liked it. xD
What's your favorite series? Do you prefer original or fan fiction better? xD

I like yaoi and yuri. xD But the art have to be good because I don't like to see two unappealing guys or girls going at each other. xD

What type of fan fictions do you guys read? I'm mainly a SasuNaru fan. xD I like to RP too, if anyone's interested.
I haven't watched a lot of yaoi series, so I don't really have a favorite. Shounen-ai, though, I think it has to be Gakuen Heaven. I like how they start the first few episodes with dialogue that sounds really wrong... but actually turn out to be something else. xD

Kurama/Hiei was my first OTP. Other than that, anything in the YGO or YYH fandom goes. I'm an odd pairings fan, too.

I read many yaoi. (since I am too cheap to buy regular mangas and that's the only type that my friend has.) I really dislike the fan ones. I prefer original characters more. They seem to make more sense on how they fall in love. xD. (although I love Taichi/Matt from Digimon Adventures.)

I can't watch or look at anything hardcore like actual yuri or yaoi...it just freaks me out. D: I'll read it, sometimes, though. As long as it's not overly detailed.
I love shoujo-ai & shounen-ai, though. n_n;;

Neither, actually. ^-^;;;;; It just...bugs me. o.o;
If there's little mentions of it, fine, but if it's overly detailed and graphic I'll put down the manga and back slowly away. ^-^;

Depends on whether you're using the Americanized definition or the original meaning.
99% of what falls under the Americanized definitions = HATE. I really do hate it. I DESPISE fan pairings that contradict a character's known sexuality. And I ESPECIALLY hate when people try and convince you it's canon. I HATE it more than just about anything when people grasp at straws for the TINEST bit of evidence that so-and-so MIGHT be gay. Stuff like SasuNaru, I can kinda tolerate (though I don't particularly like that pairing) because...well, they DO get a bit suggestive with it at times. No denying it. But for the most part, the Americanized definition of yaoi = GET IT THE HELL AWAY FROM ME, THANK YOU.
Although (and this is where Im going to sound like a pervert...I swear I'm not...but that's besie the point...), going by the original Japanese definition? The animated same-sex porn can be...interesting. XD I kinda prefer yuri to yaoi, for two reasons:
One - Doesn't carry such a corrupt connotation where I'm from...odd thing to say regarding anything PORNOGRAPHIC, but hey. Lesser of two evils.
Two - Erm...*censors self*
And for the record - though they technically mean the same thing, shounen-ai and boys love actually are NOT the same thing. Shounen-ai is an outdated term that refers more to relationships between adult men and young boys. This, I don't like. Pedophilia = EW. Boys love refers more to characters that are roughly the same age, and THIS I can like very much. Same goes for shoujo-ai and girls love.

I like shojo-ai and shonen-ai a lot, then yaoi then yuri then regular pairings. I am weird and like slash more than just a regular couple any day. My arguement with people who hate yuri or yaoi but likes the other, it is a lot of if you like it, then the other gender can watch it too, but I know many guys who come up to me and go, you don't watch yaoi do you, but it seems silly cause yes i do, I am not a rabid scary fan girl about it, but it happens. These people watch yuri so then why do you dislike the other, it seems very silly i swear. I am probably more open than most about this stuff it is a bit silly.

It really depends on my mood which I like better. Sometimes I want something light like Princess Princess (so light it barely counts! haha) or Loveless. Other times I want something really hard like Sensitive Pornograph. Of course manga is better then anime for this sort of thing quality wise.
Also I find it harder to find shojo-ai then shounen-ai. There is a difference between shojo-ai and hentai thank-you, and I don't want hentai! >O

shojo-ai I think required knnowing the right people, I ended up asking a few anime nerds for yuri, and got shojo-ai it was odd, then again, they consider things like Kyo Kara Maoh, and Princess Princess yaoi, which it is not even that, it is light shonen-ai.

I am like that with junko romantica, but it is a small case of where it is not heavy and still happens to have a lot more plot than anything. Also ends up that there is about three scenes per a book that are actually qualified as yaoi so it is mostly much lighter with it's plot.

I don't really like much yaoi... Mostly slash and maybe some shounen-ai, like Loveless.
The only shoujo-ai series I've watched is Uta Kata, and I hated that, soo yea. And yuri, definitely not. Being a straight girl, that's just not too appealing.

slash, like loveless is shounen-ai. but either way, I think slash is term that is if it isn't from japan.
Also Uta Kata, I haven't heard of it. Kashimashi is a better example of girl girl shoujo-ai. It wasn't so bad. That is actually part of how I find shojo-ai actually appealing. Also straight girl can watch Yuri, but i can see how it isn't so great. Just like straight guys might not like yaoi.

I don't like either particularly; anything hardcore is just ugh. :?
Shounen-ai is fine, shoujo-ai is okay sometimes I guess(as long as it isn't Uta Kata :lol:), but fanfiction-wise I prefer real-life slash to anything anime related.
