I didn't see a thread like this already made, so I figured I would go ahead and start this.

With all the anime and manga widely available now, it's pretty easy to find yourself with a rather large collection of.. stuff. DVDs.. manga volumes.. even just little collectible figures and plushies.

I personally collect manga and keep an updated list of everything I own and whether or not I have completed a series. I also take pictures of my collection every so often. Those of you who are on Gaia, and in particular in the Manga subforum, will be familiar with this idea. So I thought we could start something like that here on Mene.

Basically... show off your stuff! Post pictures. Or even just say how many volumes you own. How many DVDs you have lining your shelves.

I'll go ahead and start. I actually just took pictures tonight and did a count. I'm currently at 255 volumes.

oh wow, the most volumes i own of anything is the fruits basket manga. up til the volume with the sheep boy on the cover.

and then i own the whole series of cowboy bebop on dvd as well. other than that i spend meh moneys on art supplies ^^;

Well, only a little over 100, but I stopped buying books a few years ago. Now I download xP
But if I bought all the volumes I've downloaded, then it'd be over 300, definetly.

I'm embarrassed to show a picture of mine. D: I have less that 20 books.. >>;; [but it's because there aren't a lot of mangas I like that are released in the US, and I read most of the good ones online. xDD]

xD I bought them all like... 6 years ago now. So they're mad old and nearly impossible to find copies of now, short of ebay.

Dang that's a lot of manga....then again I have over 200 as well. XD Been collecting since I was able to earn enough money to buy em. Anime is a little harder since it's more expensive. ><; I probably have at least 50 anime dvds or over. I know I have a couple box sets but I don't feel like counting. XD Geez....that's a lot of money once you think about it and yet I still buy more! O.o That's why I'm drug free. XD
