Ok, the subject says it pretty clearly... I love comics and i love good movies, but sometimes the two dont work so good together... sometimes they do. This is what i want to talk about in this thread. Not about if superman could beat up daredevil or if mr. freeze would stand a chance against dr. doom...
First of all, Robocop vs. terminator. Awesome series, worth the read if you can find them. A terminator is sent back in time to claim the head of robocop so they can plug it into skynet and skynet can become self aware... dont know what kind of backwards computer science dreamed that up but it worked for the story. Anyway theres a terminator that looks like a little kid and a terminator dog working with him. Its cool...
Alien vs. predator is a great series as well, just varying stories of the predators and aliens and the humans caught in the middle, another one i'd recomend and i know the omnibus' are available at bookstores (in the ever diminishing graphic novel area)
Theres also ones not based on movies, Gi joe and the transformers, theres at least 3 or 4 of those series....
and then theres those that ought not be, like freddy vs. jason vs. ash (the hero of army of darkness fame) they couldnt make the movie because sam raimi and bruce campbell didnt want to make the movie (and believe me, if you know bruce campbells career this movie must have stunk out loud for him to turn down the work) so they made a comic instead... worst idea ever.
So does anyone else have an opinion? my ears are wide open.
