That's right they are showing this series and I just saw the first episode last night on Adult Swim. It was ok I can't wait to see what happens next week.

I was very pleased with how it turned out; it's another English dub that I like far more than the original.

I've been watching it religiously since a few months after it premiered in Japan. >w>; It's one of my favorites. And...I'm not gonna spoil, but I AM gonna say...if you liked the first episode, you will be blown away by the rest of the series. X3

I didn't much like the dub, though. I didn't HATE it, either...but I didn't particularly like it. I still can't believe they pronounced Suzaku's name wrong! >.<; When I saw the cast, I thought for SURE they'd get it right. And Lelouch's voice needed to be just a LITTLE deeper, at least - I loved the way Jun Fukuyama portrayed him.

But I actually quite liked Kate Higgins as C.C. - and I was afraid she would be horrible for the part. And I CRIED for laughter when Clovis spoke, just because his voice was so perfect for his character. It was AMAZING. XD

I couldn't resist the urge to stand up and applaud at the end. It really reminded me of how much I love this series...it was serious deja'vu. It was just like the first time I'd watched that episode all over again. X3 All in all, I was very pleased - I do like the original a LOT more than the dub (though I'm sure the gap will shrink when I get used to the new voices), but having it ON TV here where I can watch it just makes that seem like nothing.

Now...I wonder if the raw of the next episode of season 2 is online yet? It should be up somewhere by now...

I'll catch the rest on the internets on their website.

Code Gaess R2 is out, up to episode 4 is out in subtitles.

Also Code Gaess I must admit is one of those series that i have a vary large soft spot for. it is amazing, all the way through, with no small episode that can be turned down. As such, I recommend it a lot to people, and personally have a lacelot model i just finished building on my desk.

Also new models and other fun stuff is coming out with R:2 I like CC outfit better, and love some other stuff too, but in general I am glad everyone likes the english voices well, I might try and watch it sometime if I happen to be near a TV when it shows.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet since I record my shows ahead of time and had no idea it was starting last weekend but I'll defiantely start recording it and give it a shot.

not interested in the series
i will likely just glance occasionally

still laughing at the girl with the Lisp (Shirley Fenette)
that is too... Mo'e "he hungth upth!?!"

i actually prefer Johnny Bosch's higher toned voices. so to me - this Lelouch character is portrayed well for the English track. better the VA be comfortable than trying to parrot the original.

I caught the second episode of it on Adult Swim and decided that it was pretty interesting. I've whizzed through half of it at this point. It makes me a little nervous with Lelouch and Suzaku on different sides. I don't want anything bad to happen. Ah well, I'll keep on watching and hope that things work out. ^_^

I was intrigued by the character designs, but I'm not sure if I'll keep watching. But then again... the first few episodes of a given series usually don't do the rest of it justice. This may have been the translation, or maybe not. Anyway, I'll give it a try in Japanese to see if it interests me any more.

Plus points to CN for bringing it over, though. And for a relatively decent dub.

Well I missed the first two episodes but I'm following it now. Luckily it's not too hard to understand what is going on. I think I'll enjoy it.

Eh, I watched the first couple of episodes so far, but I haven't been overly moved by the show. It isn't bad, just not something I like is all.

I havn't seen the dub, but from what i've heard, it's not bad but still inferior to the Japanese version. I'm guessing they're showing the first series instead of R2 at least though. It's quite a dark plot. Just get ready for emo facial distortions through the end. xD

I love Code Geass. And if you love the first series, you'll love R2. It gets so much more complicated and intense.

The plot twists and how intricately everything is thought out is amazing.
But I can't believe they already have dubs though. O.o
They're only at episode 35 or something. 25 or something from the first one and 7 or 8 from the second one.

Code Geass is perfect in the english dub I think. All of the characters have such fitting voices.... Lelouch is awesome! >w< *turns fangirl mode off* I laughed when Clovis got killed

I don't have Adult Swim, but I'm not too worried about. I've been watching Code Geass subbed for awhile and I find it hard to go from watching a sub to a dub. The series is amazing though, season two has been great but I will not spoil anything.

I adore this show. i sat in my room and watched all of series 1 straight one night (I'm crazy!)

I really love the Japanese VA, but I have to admit that I have a soft spot for Johnny Yong Bosch. basically, if he's doing VO work for an anime, I will watch it (or at least try it) no matter what. I adored him so much as Vash, and I thought he would be amazing for Ichigo before they cast him XD

I'm looking forward to the remainder of Code Geass: R2 as well!
