Anyone a fan of any of the world masterpiece theatre productions?

If you don't know, thy are anime renditions of famous novels. Some of them are pretty old (i.e. 1970's) but they are well done anyway so it's not a big deal. The designs are almost Miyazaki-ish.

I really love the one they did of Anne of Green Gables. They followed the book almost word for word.

no i have never heard of this one. it sounds interesting about the anime version of the classics novels but i don't know how i would take to one of them. i think its one of those things i have to watch in order to like them

Oh I love this series! I saw Daddy Long Legs, some of Perrine, and some of Peter Pan. It's so hard for me to find episodes to watch...I want to see Les Miserables so bad. D: It's without doubt one of my favorite stories.
