Most Disappointing Game Endings
Ok I didn't see a thread for this, so if there is already one, I'm sorry for duplicating. I was wondering if any gamers out there found the ending to a game that they were very disappointed in?
I just beat Fable 2 and was very disappointed in the ending to the game. I was hopping for a bigger finale, something grand and satisfying. But I was left very disappointed and cold. Have you ever had a game like that, where you were expecting something great to happen and instead got something lame? |

very anti climatic -_____- I mean you do all this ass kicking. you defeat all this demons and hell things. And a bunch of your comrades that are like zombies. ANd then THAT? so not worth all my efforts |
i totally agree with fable 2. it was what i was going to say. i think i was expecting this big fanfare and maybe a bit more of a lead into the next game (because we all know there will be another) and... i don't know. it was so involved getting there and then the whole agonizing decision and then... pftt. bleh. i mean, i know the game goes on and all but i worked so freaking hard to get to the end and i enjoyed every second of it (well, maybe not the bit where my stupid wives kept packing up my kids and moving away because they'd marry me THEN decide i was too evil and not want anything to do with me) but... let down >___<

Clive Barker's Jericho. The final fight and the last cutscene left me thinking, "That's it? Really? Really?"

The DS version of spore....Thats it....only 3 hours of game play and a crappy ending to boot.

Ok so at least I'm not the only one. I was so disappointed with FAble 2 it wasn't even funny. I really enjoyed the game and had fun getting up to the ending and then it was all over. No battle, no real confrontation, nothing.

Oh the ending to Sudeki. Actually, the whole game was disappointing.
But the ending basically went like this: "And so you saved everyone and sudeki was re-formed. The end." No cutscene, no nothing. Just that sentence and a little animation of a black thing and a white thing fusing together. Laaaaame. |
Fallout 3. What on earth is this :I the FO3 story is kind of shabby to begin with, but... Maybe Bethesda can remedy this a bit with some of the DLC they've promised

It reminded me how I had to pay out some extra money on Lost chapters to get some decent play time out of the first fable... The game coul have had so much more going for it. |
The ending to Tales of Symphonia 2 did not cut it for me, at least the one that I got. They didn't spend the whole game explaining everything and just threw everything in at the end. So I ended up being super confused and mad that it was over already.

The ending for Disgeia. ((I can't spell it)) the first one with Laharl and such. :/ Although it certainly got me more because Flonne drives me up a tree.

My ending for Fallout 3 was great, since i was such a jerk. xD I nuked Megaton and wiped the ghouls. =o What i meant by 'wiped the ghouls', is by having a fully loaded 'Fatman' Launcher and tearing hell in the underground complex. I haven't played yet, but my boyfriend hated the end of Shadow of the Colossus, I just can't remember why...

I haven't finished anything in a while, but my bro and sister finally finished GTAIV, the ending is pretty dissapointing in that xP
At least with GTAIII it ended in a bang xDD (lulz for us who finished that, they get what i mean ;)) |
