I have quite a number of accounts on gaia, including one under this name. I try to give them each a special and specific purpose, like one is a mule for my guild and another for running a booty grab quality aquarium. Gaia is definitely my no.1 site, I won't be leaving it any time soon.

I got scammed on gaia. Someone hacked me, and I can't get on my account. Now I only have a mule I am too thoughroughly disgusted to go on. Some people make me want to scream.

What I hate is someone and I were having a discussion about sex on gaia. The topic was Sex in roleplays, cyber or story addition. We were in no way talking about having an SRP we were merely having a fun debate about it with several others. We were all joking and having fun in a PG -13 manner, and some little kid comes along and goes all EWWW sex, and the thread gets delted. We shrugged it off and moved to another site to discuss it, (truly was a fun convo.)

The thing that pisses me off the most at the moment though is currently if you go to their new Earthday thing you get to talk to a grunnie, (little green rabbit.) and it says and I My thoughts on this, if their a site that is all sex is bad which is what I get from them because if you mention that naughty word you can get banned! Merely for having a debate about whether or not something can add or take away from a story.

(Please note this is me ranting on top of everything else that has happened today. Forgive please!)

What the heck? Gaia is so suggestive in all the manga and everything they do...and you can get banned for saying the word...sex? (gasp! XD)

I know its kinda like "We can say this, but you can't." and I think its things like debates about it and such though I have found whole threads dedicated to the subject since.

I joined Gaia back in 2007, so I'm still fairly new there. I'm on my way to become a moderator (hopefully! -crosses fingers- ). A friend of mine is leaving Gaia, and he said he has an account here. Of course I want to keep up with him because he's awesome, so I joined today! I think I pull off the sexy look, don't you think?

As I said in another forum, many of the admins, mods, etc. on Gaia seem to practice what I would call "Free Speech for Me but Not for Thee." They frequently would tell raunchy jokes and stories but if anyone else besides them or their friends/brown nosers did so they would get reprimended.

I've never had to use a credit card.

Another problem with Gaia is that it seems to be all about money. Most of the great items you have to purchase with real money or a mountain load of gold, in some cases so high that instead of buying the item you could give every Gaia user 100 gold. That ridiculously high!

I know!! Plus it's sooo inflated now...some of those new items that come from the RIGs are so crazy expensive I'd have to sell off at least half my stuff to get one of the nice ones.
And because it's all about the real money, the gold shops aren't getting much attention. :(

I guess it is hard to miss that on gaia they made the thumbnails of the items that come from the cash shop sparkle. :lol:

Or wait...is that only if you spend forever on it? xD I've never been very good at online games... : D

I actually beat zOMG in the first month, and I was in school at the time. XD

Guess it depends on how bored I am. :lol:
