Yup. Gold sink event. I joined in the summer of '07 during the end of another gold sink event. I did not know what was goign on much either. You had to go get some things from the flower shop and bring them to certain NPCs, and then give gold, too. In exchange, you got the blood drop broach or the black orchid broach depending on which side you were talking to.
The people who gave at least a million to a shop in the save the shop event by themselves got a profile comment from the shop's NPC. The new stellarite and gender potions will be good gold sinks. ^^ |
Yea I love the stellarite, because it only lasts 30 days and is 30k each time. I considered getting an animated item, simply because I could keep it animated!

I know, I was so excited when I saw that the stellarite cost GOLD, not Gaia cash! So not only is it great for a gold sink, it's something "exclusive-like" that doesn't cost Gaia cash. : D

However, you can buy the stelarite with 49 gaia cash if you actually want.

I never feed my fish, but I do like to keep my tank updated with nice fish, as that's my only real means of income.

I have those eggs from an easter event. The little bunnies are so sweet. Put it in last week swearing I would keep up with it. >.>;; I'm selling the others.

I left Gaia a little after I starting playing Booty Grab and zOMG. Booty Grab was such an easy way to get gold, up to 100k in the hour, if you were good at it. So I got more gold, I think i had 16M by the time I left. zOMG was also another thing that upset me. You can just go for rounds of Papa Saw hard, again and again, and you get tons of gold! I just found it wasnt fun anymore, when i could just snap my fingers and get gold.

I havent been up to date with the announcements. I just went to change my avi the other day. I think I might changed it back to kinky gangster haha. My fish are looong dead...I think...maybe I should check on that. I only go there now to check my guild status and play a bit of ZOMG. Thats about it. I dont go into the forums that much anymore, people are starting to irritate me there.

I haven't played zOMG for a couple months. I like it a lot, but I have issues with games. I'll play it for days then stop playing for months. Then go back and play for days, and forget for a few months. Rinse, repeat. XD

That's exactly how I am! Especially with zOMG, because it's nice, but it gets boring pretty fast.
