I haven't made it up to a 3.0 CL yet (I think I'm at 2.8 or something close), so I haven't been able to tackle that quest yet. We'll see what happens when I get to that level!

Ferra, I have no idea how to "suppress" my rings. I've seen people saying that, but had assumed it was just a show-offy way of saying they took some off or switched down to some of a lower CL.

So how do I suppress?

For those of you who are playing with the Verison bottle thing - how many replies do you typically get before your bottle comes back?

On one of my accounts, I got two replies. On another I only got one reply.

But when I replied to other peoples' bottles, I saw two or three replies before I added my own. o_o;

@Jelly: Just go to the Null Chamber and talk to the annoying NPC that's there. Then pick the option that says "Can I alter the power of my rings?" From there you can drag the bar to select the maximum CL level your rings will be suppressed to and it will lower your average CL accordingly.

She is a necessary evil. =/ In some areas they really did a lousy job of explaining things, but I did my best to explore the game's features myself. It does seem that they've fixed a lot of glitches though finally. I also like that we now can see how close we are to getting the kill badges.

I haven't looked at that but yet, I fear I might find it depressing xD

I didn't know about the suppression either. I guess that means I don't have to level up a second set of rings. :B

LOL. Oh god. Yes - that's pretty hysterical to me as well. XD The number of times Jelly and I disagree (as well as any other two random staff members disagree - depending on what level you'd call "the hive") forbid us actually having a "hive mind" - but it did make me laugh. :rofl:

Re the Verizon thingy....
I got one one day, the next day got somebody else's, and then the next day got mine back. Then the next day I got another new one.

So it seems that every day you'll either get one for yourself, or get somebody else's...

When you get yours back, just pick one of the responses, and you get 250 gold.
The person you pick gets 250 gold also.

Ring suppression kinda sucks. I like having a set of lower-powered rings so that I can still use my hard-hitting rings to attack, and then have weaker rings fill out the rest of my slots. So I can still kill stuff really quickly, but my CL is still low enough to fight in lower-level areas.

I haven't played in a long time now because I'm stuck in the Otami Ruins trying to get some red eye thing to finish a quest. And I keep getting killed by these stupid things because I don't usually crew. T_T

Ah, those Jewel Eyes are a pain. D: I killed over 160 of those things and didn't get a single jewel (well I did get the one for the quest initially, but I got nothing when I tried to farm them so I could finish my sinister scarf).

I was thinking of doing that for my rings too, but I'm actually pretty okay with having an "even" set of rings. That's probably because I crew a lot though, so it's more beneficial to have all my rings be the max so I can support.

LAME! I'm going to be in the Ruins forever... I have this sneaking suspicion. T_T

Well they've "fixed" a lot of things, like that basket that never respawned, but I have a sneaking suspicion they lowered the odds for those mask things. I got one fairly quickly when I first tried, but after some of the more recent updates I think drops might have lowered.

I'm thankful I finished most of the quests when I did. They had already nerfed orb earning for all of them, but it was before they made the bosses a lot harder.

What do you mean they "nerfed orb earning" for the quests?

I haven't played in awhile. Don't you get orbs for farming or finishing quests anymore?
