Tounin: I haven't been in tune with gaia for a while so I dont really know what that school thing is. They have lotteries now? That's interesting.
I have to admit, I do miss the volume of people. Even though a lot of them were spammers, scammers, and the like, it was cool to know that even if you logged on at three in the morning there were 25K other people to chat and buy/sell with. |
Gaia = money hungry. I understand they have bills to pay, artists to pay, etc...but come onnnnnnnnn... Everything is all about the money and in this day and age- money is the last thing most people have to spare with the economy on the craps. -flaily arms- Hence why I quit months ago. XDD I really like Menewsha. People are friendlier and I haven't come across anything about the site that I dont like. C: |

Anything related to Gaia cash can't get enough attention it seems. Maybe they're hoping that if you don't visit your aquarium much, it will make you want to go buy some fish...

I usually buy my fish on the marketplace. Besides I can't find the cash cards where I live.

I joined mene yesterday, and I'm still not used to it, I really like gaia ALOT more.. maybe cuz I find the layouts and stuffs way too simple here, or just cuz I have lots of friends on gaia. I actually left gaia for a while cuz I was wayy too addicted and was afraid that if I started college I wouldn't be able to focus. Yet I joined here thinking it wouldn't get addictive, it hasn't come to me yet but I'm afraid it will D:

I'm joined Gaia in 2008, and left a few days ago. I left Gaia because of the constant changes, their incredibly annoying ads, and the lack of quality that the site and community has to offer.

I really like the avatars here. Theyre so pretty. Better than the Gaia ones, imo. I joined only yesterday, and i really like it here so far. Im on Gaia at the same time, though. I'll see how much i enjoy this site, so i hope i have fun here! ...btw... how do i make friends? D: |

As for the actual process of "making" friends, I can't really help you. ::laughs:: Chat with them. Menewsha Nations is a good place to have just casual conversation without getting into trouble. Use gmail it never goes innactive. I switched most of my accounts to gmail accounts
and I don't have to worry. For a while I was afraid I'd lose some of my favorites. |

Bah... Gaia has just pissed me off so bad, I only recently realized how much money I spent on that site over the past five years or so. Then they froze my trading pass, said I bought gold offsite, which I didn't...

I mostly go onto gaia for friends, but for some reason the sit has gotten so much more boring than it was when it first started. Maybe it is because it is so old now, and their just trying to stave off the inevitable fall into the dust? maybe... who knows xP

I think it's how they're trying to save their site from falling into the dust...they might be fine if they really truly cared about the users instead of just the site itself...and money.

You can turn your footers off. It is in your settings and you can turn it off. -.-; If you wish to not use it because I don't and I haven't been on gaia. I am going on now! 8D I still do like Gaia even if it sucks mega bad. xD

Actually, They can't help that you look like them either. We all have the same items and such. It can't be helped if you copy another persons avatar. xD I don't think they mean to do that, Nikko.

With as many items as there are on Gaia especially, the chances of people exactly reproducing another person's avatar by accident are low. Very possible, of course, but low if the person is using several items in odd combinations.

@lightkanna: I actually liked the dark purple the best. I wish they had kept that. It looked nice with everything else on the site and it wasn't hard on your eyes. Ah well...Gaia doesn't read their feedback forums anyhow.
I hate the footer too. The only good thing about it is the customizable shortcuts. |
