hi!! i also am on gaia. i joined in 2004, i'm an oldbie on there lol!! i am also llonka on there. i saw the ads for menewsha on tektek and thought i'd give it try! so far it reminds of old gaia, not much to do but chat in the forums and play games. and it takes forever to earn gold. but i like here so far! seems like a nicer community.

It's funny, everyone says that it's easier to earn gold on Gaia, but I actually think it's easier over here! :) Maybe it's just because Gaia's marketplace is so inflated. MC's are about 50-80k now right away.

Ah I know what most of you are saying, Gaia has gone down, I like the old site, less confusing, less inflation, now it's hard to make a decent amount of gold without buying gaia cash! It sucks since it took me 5 years to build up where I am now, and only 3 days for a person to be equal twice as much as me.

@ Kaema - I know D; I remember when you could buy the MC's for 5k D; I can't believe thet've rocketed to 50+k WTF inflation. Unless you're on there playing bootygrab all the time who can make that kind of money, seriously. You can only make like 1k a day posting before you get down to the 1-5g a post thing.

I have three accounts on Gaia. My beloved main account. A male and a Mule. But recently Gaia's been glitchy and i am seeing it go downhill. I can't find anything enjoyable on Gaia anymore. Although i still check it once a day and feed my aquarium.

Same here. I'll check Gaia to see what's new and feed my fishes if I remember...sometimes I'll do daily chance. Gaia just isn't very interesting anymore. :| I don't know why I still check it so often!

I wonder if Booty Grab will be nerfed in some way at some point eventually. It will be interesting to see if that happens. They could do with limiting the amount of times you can submit your score per day for that I think.

That would be interesting. owo; I also noticed a trend there that whatever comes out, people complain about it. A lot. I avoid Site Feedback for that. X_X;

I don't BG much anyway. My tanks pull in a small-ish amount.

I'm curious to see what they cook up this season. I always liked their Halloween events, though I have no idea what last years was likes as my comp broke down around that time. I enjoyed the one the year before, where you could be a vampire or vampire hunter.

I probably won't have much time to play, but it'll be interesting to pop in and see what it's like.

I always did too. owo I also wasn't around for last year's event, but I did love the event before. I loved being a vampire hunter. XDDD

@Howdy: You didn't miss much since last year's event was almost exactly like the year before, only you have the new hugging zombies and dark elves thrown into the mix. I still enjoyed myself though since I managed to max out my levels for all four races.

I'm really looking forward to the Halloween event since this is my first on Gaia>

People in other threads were complaining that there's too much Gaia negativity on Menewsha. So I thought - why not give people the opportunity to express Gaia love?

I haven't logged into Gaia but for 1 minute since June. Tell me something cool that Gaia has been up to? And if there's nothing really cool you can think of recently - tell me something they do in general that you think is awesome. ;)

I like the new EI's they've been coming up with (something good about gaia<3), can't wait to see what the evolve too. I remember when the first EI's started to come out, I thought they were pretty awesome, but compare to now....eh ;]

I actually like the Raffle.

It's good for a gold sink, and there's always a little chance that you could win something.
At any rate, it just goes to show that if you can't win the Gaia raffle, there's no way that you could win any of the Power Ball lottos that some of the states run.

I like the items on Gaia, but the only thing I hate is when new items come out, the people who buy them are like "LETS MAKE THEM 300K"

And I really don't want to butcher my gold for one item. It's so irritating when they make items that high. Not everyone has 300k. And even if you do, you don't really want to end up poor in one day.

But I usually just go on zOMG and earn my money there. I tend to find people on there nicer than on the forums surprisingly. But I don't like how they changed it so many times. Like they made different little areas for the bosses. Even though it was hella scary when the She-Wolf would make a lunge at you when you even tried to pass the cave.

But I liked it when the bosses came running outta their caves toward the people who would run to a heavy populated place hoping those people would save them..

Those were good times.

i just grow bored, i had my dream avi, and in the end... well it wasnt worth anything xD i thought the character looked odd, i wanted diff hair, and yeah... only 50 gold a post and going down from that point as such the profile comments, at least you can get money here by lengthening your post, and the forums are way 'cleaner looking' o.o well that ws me xD and yeah the ads were kind of disturbing x.x

I have been on Gaia since 2003, I've been on Mene since 2007... From my observations, yes Mene is going the same way gaia is... or it would if people would post more... >< It's sad really to see people disappearing from Mene and threads that would have been active 2 years ago would be dead for days now...

well I don't have a gaia account but my little sister does, she is big on all these avatar communities so I have seen a few things when she was online. I was considering signing up but after seeing the ammount of spam there is and how rude and boderline nasty the staff were I decided against it.
I hope that if menewsha does decide to make changes to the site that it is infact for the better and that this site never becomes like gaia, otherwise I can tell you now there would be a huge drop in members, and I for one would be one of the first to leave.
Menewsha is brilliant the way it is, I think its brilliant how the staff interact with regular members and how the community here is all really nice! Lets hope it stays this way!

Let's see...I've always liked the games on Gaia! They don't give out much gold, but I like them enough that I'll play them anyway! :) I've always liked zOMG, Jigsaw, Electric Love Factory(that's what it's called, right?), and Cards. :D

Oh, and I've also always liked the avatar arenas. :)

I dont like gaia anymore its to expensive to have a good account now. everything worth buying is over priced or they want cash for it. pretty soon its going to be like a pay by the month site thing and so isnt worth it!

My inventory, Breedable & Changing Pets (and the good RP and people that go along with it) and the GCD (sometimes). XP

I also like EIs quite a bit. I've been trying to collect at least one of each, but I'm falling behind. I can't afford them in gold, and I can't afford them in RL cash, so that sucks. :(
