Well it is about computers ^^. I am creating my own avatar community. I have no idea how to script mods into the forum. I am looking someone to do this for me, You will get paid $2 of for each mod installled once I have the site up and running with donations flowing in. Right now I am looking for a Shop mod, Cash Mod, Nulavatar Mod. Can someone also advice me on FTP? |
Personally sweetie, if you have no knowledge in this field (ie, php, mySQL, html/CSS etc) you really shouldn't even bother wasting your time ^^; Its going to end up in one huge mess
And i think people will be looking for more than $2 to do such things anyway ;) try a couple of hundred $$$ Just offering that is screaming 'summer project/im not serious' about all this |
I'm going to have to agree with Coco on this one... coding doesn't come cheap. It is really labour intensive and complicated, and it takes people years to develop that skill. The best way I could think of to do the set-up for cheap/free would be to do it yourself.
Or if you were friends with a person who is willing to give it a go for free... but they'd have to be really devoted. To you have a plan for your site? What makes it unique? Why would people want to join your community? All these things and more need to be taken into consideration before you'll have anyone on board. It takes a lot of hard work and determination, not to mention creativity and talent to make a site like this work. If you are absolutely serious about doing this, then I wish you well my friend. The only coding I know is HTML for the fact I learnt how to create Myspace layouts right from the scratch. But phpbb is a completely something new to me. I want it to be unique as it offers something from every corner of the world. Not just the main countrys, I would also like there to be a charity of the month that when people donated they have a choice that a percentage of what they donated goes to that charity and the charity is selected by it's own members but that is only if the members of the site do like the idea. But I guess I will have to learn how to code this all in myself. It's just that I have far to much time on my hands seen as I only go to college two days a week, most of my friends are in college / school everyday and there really aren't any jobs going where I live. But thank you for your help and I guess my site will just be on hold right now untill I learn how to install all these myself. |
