I recently bought and played a game called The Path which is an indie game from Tale of Tales.
And it is very... disturbing... I was wondering if anyone else here has played it or is planning to. If you haven't here's some info:

It's essentially a horror retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. You pick one of the 6 red girls to play as and are given the instructions "Go to Grandmother's house. Stay on the path."
But if you follow those instructions you loose.

The goal of the game is to stray from the path and explore. You can collect items, or "memories" and interact with numerous places. It's very slow and is focused on exploring and implied things rather than fighting of anything else. You win a girls scenario if you stray from the path and find her "wolf" and interact with it. "Wolf" not always being the animal. There are many implied things such as death and... OTHER things... in the game but you never get a clear explanation, making this game open for interpretation.

For $10 from the official site this game is worth FAR more. I've played $40 games that weren't nearly as enjoyable as this.

This is NOT a game for the faint of heart, the impatient, or people who prefer games where all you do is kill stuff. If you like a good story, you are patient, or you like being a bit creeped out I'd say go and buy this.

It's an interesting game, as most of their games are. xD ~ Have you tried The Endless Forest by them?

No I haven't had the chance to try that yet, but I did try their other game, The Graveyard or something like that.

Now that one was freaky.
