I know I play too much video games when I start giving customers hit point ratings and labeling some as lvl such and such elites. >.> I've also gone to sleep after trying a hard part of a game and dreamed about the solution to the problem. I think I know I play too much video games too because someone can barely describe a part of a certain game (WoW) and I can tell them exactly where they need to go, who they need to talk to, and approximately how long it will take them to complete their quest without even looking at the spec of their character. >.>

You know you play too many video games when - You and your friend start making save points from Silent Hill and such on papers just in case you get ran over by a schoolbus or fail a test, so we can reset our lives c:

When you are facing off against a random clan, and they all end up leaving the game before it ends because you are 3kills away from using a Nuke.

I honestly can not say I play games too much. I bought my first game console yesterday. I got an xbox 360 elite. Although know I can't stop playing Dante's Inferno. It kinda has me worried on whether or not hell is really like that, but other then intense paranoia about what will happen when I die, it hasn't messed with my real life yet. Oh, and I don't mean for it to sound like I have never played a video game before. I have, but after about ten minutes I would put the controller down and grab a book. I was never into games so much. Although so far I have played for about 18 hours on Dante's Inferno. I think I may be addicted. lol

Ahhh, I' so jealous! We were going to get an XBox 30 elite after our other XBox 360 got the 3 red rings of death, but it was too expensive. AND I WANT THAT GAME. It looks really good D:

So i've been CP grinding like crazy in Final Fantasy XIII. The other night it was late. I was really tired and I was in my bathroom brushing my teeth. And i'm standing there, mindlessly brushing away, staring off into space... and i'm waiting for my ATB bar to deplete so I can stop brushing. And I honestly stood there for a few minutes before I realized that I don't have an ATB bar.

That's kinda embarrassing.

I've got a new one: You know you play video games too much when you discover you can do things from them that you never thought you could do in a million years.

So, so, I've been replaying Crisis Core:FFVII for the...fourth time (old-ish, yes, but it's my favorite game I have for my PSP, which goes with me everywhere), and...shortly after completing my third run (hard mode AUGH...they were NOT kidding about it being hard), without even really thinking about it...one morning, I was going to have a really exciting day. my alarm went off for me to take my pills...and I sprung out of my bed by placing my hands over my head, rolling back, and throwing myself onto my feet - like Zack does when he gets knocked down. Never knew I could do that.
I did happen to be woken up from a dream about said game. So yeeeah. I don't remember what had happened in said dream just before that moment, but...

I thought it was a fluke and/or because the floor was lower than the bed, so I tried it again - turns out, nope, I can actually DO that - came as one HELL of a shock to me. I'm not exactly in amazing shape - though I do have some damn good upper body strength, which is APPARENTLY a lot better than I thought.

Now to find a practical use for that skill. xD Though I've already found one for the dodge roll...

What's worse? Ever since then, I've worried about how to keep my own Endure status active so I don't get knocked down.

These have happened in school:
You know you play to many games when:
- You write "Warrior" in the "Class: _________" Line for a test. (This one wasn't me, That would have been awesome. I would have said "Hunter" though)
- You write "5" in the "Strengths: ________" Line for some sort of bio thingy we did. (Did that today. I do hope they accept it)
- You challenge a teacher to a turn based battle for the answers to a test. (Ya, she was an awesome teacher, didn't go for it though)
- You have the Final Fantasy Fanfare on your phone and play it after every test. (I however lost the song from my memory card and have yet to get it back)
- You scream the name of a action prior to doing it. (SHOVE!)
- Wait for your ATB bar to fill up:
A. While the other guy punches you. (Slightly painful, thank god it wasn't a real fight, he swung at me thinking I'd move though)
B. before you write an answer on a test. (Nothing to say about this one besides ran out of time).

Outside School:
- You hold X to run.
- You hear "Help Me!" like the Jingos from Banjo Kazooie.
- You expect a random encounter every step. (Paranoia!)

I think these are all good signs I need to leave my house more.

Ah, the infamous "One must die" scene. I always went with the one that I figured was more annoying. And Kaiden's voice actor was just annoying, so he usually bit the dust. Though, for this play-through(my 3rd) Im going to let him live. xD

I usually play as a female, and because Liara annoys me I have Kai as my love interest (that's another one, you know you play video games too much when you give characters nicknames) so Ash dies. But it does make me sad... I wonder what happens if you kill your love interest? hmmm....

lol I have that as my ringtone right now. XD

Took me a couple of months before I could find the exact type of file of it online and download it...the kind from FFVII:AC; I don't like the one from the original, only Loz's version. :P

I don't think I'll ever change it >.>;

You know you play too many video games when you and your friend decide to make an AUTO-REVIVOR that's full of Phoenix downs.

My friend and I went there.

Or when you have the urge to try summoning an aeon or esper to kick someone's butt.

I had a dream somebody brought a pet Hunter (L4D/L4D2) to a party--so I thought. Turns out it was this flexible and agile actor hired for this gamer's birthday party to act out his pouncing move on his participating girlfriend and do other acrobatics for entertainment....

I totally wouldn't mind having people dress up like L4D characters for a party of mine... *starts to think about Halloween*

I play an online MMO called Rappelz. Well, in the world of Rappelz, you get "Pets". One of these, is a Red Pixie. But you have to "farm" kill the little buggers for them to drop an empty card of themselves, THEN you have to try and tame it. With a taming skill. Let's just say, I farmed long enough that I was seeing them float around while I was driving, and dreaming. I even once saw one float past the window at my college. Suffice it to say, I took a bit of a break from the game for a while loll

I had the same sort of thing happen, except I wasnt seeing just one creature from the game, I was seeing multiples. Even the ones I had only passed by because I knew I wouldnt be able to kill them myself.

When you've played Tetris and are actually still playing it in your imagination when you're trying to sleep. I've had that with Tetris and a dancing game. Also when you're trying to break pots when you see them to get Rupees. I've almost done that once when I was playing alot of Zelda.
Though, it's actually common for me to dream about playing a videogame. To be honest it happens nearly every night.

EDIT: Wow, I suddenly remember, once saying the word "lol" (not as in L O L, but just "lol") to my mom when she said something funny. I was soooo embarrassed.

A few years ago, I was really obsessed with Resident Evil 4. I binged on it for what must have been at least 12 hours. In my lack of sleep, Resident Evil mindset, I was kind of just in the zone of the game, mentally. Then our next door neighbor revved up a chainsaw to cut some tree limbs, and I freaked out. I mean, really freaked out. It took me a while to realize that Dr. Salvador was not in fact about to kill me. xD

I've been playing Pokemon on an emulator on my laptop. I can throttle the framerate up to 2000% with my spacebar, useful for getting through the battle, dialog and PokeCenter scenes quickly. The other day I was sitting through a training lecture on my console at work, and it was painfully slow and boring, so I instinctively hit the spacebar to speed it up. :P

I play a lot of Pokemon games a lot, and there was a point in time when I played them so often I could hear the music everywhere I went. If I went outside the house, I would hear one tune, if I re-entered the house, the music would change, and even when I would go with my mom to her job at the Hospital, I would hear the PokeCenter music upon entering the hospital... every place I went had a Pokemon game theme playing when I went there... it got kind of annoying until I forced myself to stop playing the games so often... >.<
