Discuss or rant on about Oblivion.

So what is everyone's favorite thing about Oblivion?

I love the Dark brotherhood, only it's boring once you become a Listener, because then there's nothing to do but talk to a statue and get lots of money

I want to play this game again so badly. I used to have it when I was borrowing my brother's XBOX360. But then he took it back and I have no means to play it again.

But I asked for a PS3 for Christmas so I'll have to get it for that.

I can't wait to become Arch Mage again.

Edit: And I guess my favorite thing about Oblivion is that you don't really have to do anything if you don't want to. I can spend hours just exploring the terrain and discovering things. (daedra worshippers) It's just way too much fun.

Yea the daedra worshippers were fun to watch and listen to especially Sheogorath's followers.

I love oblivion at first though I didn't really care for it, but then I played more and more and well ninety hours later and well.. yeah xD what I loved about the game were the graphics, when I first saw the landscape I was blown away and I do have to say that the Dark Brotherhood side quest was a lot of fun, at least a lot more fun then the Dark Brotherhood in Morrowind xD

The one thing I didn't like was the ending. I save the whole world and what do I get? A useless title and a suit of cheesy gold armour. I was screaming at my computer screen to name me Empress. *sulks*

Yea the armor they give you really wasn't worth the trouble plus when you get to a certain lvl that armor is pretty much useless.

Well I never wear armour because of how good it is - I wear it to look good. And that gold armour is hideous.

Yea i do that too some times usually i wear the Legion armor or the Daedric armor cause i think they are cool looking.

Daedric armour is pretty awesome. My brother wears it all the time. I myself prefer glass, I really love being green ^^
I quite like Ebony as well. It's pretty, even if it is really heavy.

Usually I play as an Imperial but i do mix it up some times and play as an Orc or a Dark Elf.

I'm either Wood Elf or Dark Elf most of the time, but usually Wood Elf. I like using bows and arrows ^^

I'm more of the two handed heavy sword or one handed sword and shield type myself.

I'll fight with anything, though mostly, but it's normally a bow and arrows, or a blade. I made a copy of the Goldbrand and put a special enchantment on it, so I mostly use that.
My fighting tactics are very cowardly, though. I turn completely invisible, sneak up behind them, and kill them. ^^

I usually get right in the enemies face so they know who killed them.

Oblivion Gates are lots of fun to close! I often just ride around on my horse looking for gates, because there are loads of Daedra to kill and it's like solving a puzzle to get to the Sigil Stone

Yea they are alot of fun also you can ride around for hours just searchin for every area on the map.

I played as... some kind of elf, not dark or wood, the other one.

I like using magic and some kind of sword.

Yea i never played as a high elf always hated them for some reason.

Yea, my friend who plays doesn't like high elves either. I only picked it because it looks close to a character that I draw.

I have never cared for high elves either for whatever reason. I always play as a wood elf. I like Dark elves too!! I wished we could play as dwarves.

I have to say when I was playing Oblivion last I remember there was a dark elf who had lost everything because one of the Lords took it away from him and he was wandering around singing something about flying away. It was kind of sad because once he finally got the courage to stand up for himself he got killed by one of the guards of the city. In one of my quests I tried to help him and kill the guard. Of course I ended up having to kill the entire town guardsmen lol. What a corrupt bunch they were!!

Yea usually when you kill one guard ya got to kill them all and yea I would like them to have added Dwarves or Dwemer as there called in the Elder Scrolls to Oblivion.

I would have also liked to be able to add real looking beards to the characters like the Nords had in Morrowind.

I know that quest, I had a feeling he'd just get killed so I didn't bother trying to save him.
You always end up killing all the guards? I just turn invisible and remove my bounty. Although, it's funner to put bounties on guards, and then watch them fight each other ^^

I love when random stuff happens in the game. Like, I stayed at an inn and when I got up in the morning these people just started fighting each other in the tavern. They battled up the stairs and jumped off the balcony. Then one of them got killed by a guard. XD

Another favorite quest is in the mage's guild when you finally try to stop some rogue mage in Anvil and then this high elf dressed in blue noble looking dress goes after she wishes you well in the inn and sees you out on the road traveling what appears to be alone; You're journey ends here traveler and I will be talking all of your wares after your dead!! I do hope you have worth while goods because the last two merchants were most disappointing!! Then she smiles and attacks you summoning a horrible monster to kill you. I just loved listening to her say that line, it struck as very funny for some reason or another. LOL!!
