Which one do you like more?

Personally, I'm a PC. MAC's confuse the hell outta me.
But that's also because I get frustrated and give up because I can't find anything.
:P

It depends on the OS. I'm windows up until Vista. XP was the last decent OS. I have tried 7-up, it still has that annoying function that makes pirating impossible. This is also not to forget that Vista had a report that there were some suspicious files that hooked up to Homeland Security. XP is great and all, but one day it will be obsolete and my programs will no longer run. When I have no more options and I can't use XP, I will convert to mac. Until then I'm old school Windows.

I'm Mac entirely now. I used to be PC until I tried my first Mac and fell in love with the OS and the ease of use, I'm STILL learning new features of it, though I've basically got everything down pat. I taught myself how to use everything by fiddling and it's very simplistic really.. being ready out of the box.. and everything sets itself up. I'm not sure how some people find it confusing, if you don't know how to work a computer it's the simplest system because you don't need to know more than point and click to get into the programs you want.

I've only recently started modding mine after wiping the harddrive to begin again.. even managed to get a way to play some of my windows games that I couldn't bring over thanks to a handy and free web program. It works for .exe files only though.. but I'm happy for it. I get my IMVU back.

----------

I was raised on PC, and I know it inside and out.. my dad is a Computer programmer so I was around them since birth. I always hated Windows even though I knew it.. it didn't help my brother kept finding ways to download viruses onto the computer (and then blame me - yeah right) so upon trying a Mac.. it has become my favorite system.

Unfortunately, I'm unwilling to pay the 150% price overage for the pretty. :)

I've been toying with the idea of a hackintosh for quite a while now, but I haven't brought myself to pick up the parts for it yet.

Currently, I'm on a PC, back on windows after a long hiatus in the Linux world. :)

I'm on the fence with Mac and PC. From the beginning I've been brought up using nothing but PCs. Until my sister saved money and bought a Mac. I wasn't exactly sure about a Mac. Since I was a complete PC girl. I loved my HP and Dell Laptops. Then one day I decided to start saving money for a Mac. Once I had enough I bought it.

And I'll be perfectly honest. I didn't like it at first. I thought it was the most confusing thing. I had been use to doing everything manually on my PC. I wasn't use to it. If I moved a music file on a Mac it would immediately find it. I wouldn't have to re direct like on a PC.

I would have to say that I really do like the Mac. BUT. And this is a big but. Their are just some programs I'm sad that I couldn't transfer over. Especially some of my games. I'm going to soon partition my Mac (I have the Windows 7 installation disc) so that I can play windows games and a few school related programs.

I like Macs better. I find that Macs are easier and more fun to use as well. They may not play many games but they are improving.

I actually wrote a blog on another videogame site, GiantBomb.com about Macs:

"Has anyone seen those new Windows ads where they Pay people to buy a computer and they coincidentally pick a Windows computer while saying Macs are "too big" or any other reason as to why they don't want a Mac? I don't get those ads because like their last two Windows ads, they are missing something crucial that Mac actually does. TELL US WHY WINDOWS IS BETTER!!! I mean come on, who's running the advertising dept. at Microsoft? First there was the "Seinfeld meets Gates ads" (*Copyand paste this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz6am...e=channel_page and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBWPf...eature=channel, I think this one is funnier.*) Which were funny besides but only had 2 secs of why Windows might be better at the end. After this it was the "Mac Attack"[Pun intended] ads, where the decided to show that PC users are not boring people like the Mac ad "supposedly" displays them to be, unfortunately these don't say anything to why Windows are better. I just don't get it, why spend money on an ad or on TV time when you don't even mention why Windows is better. Heck, even their "free" YouTube channel says a little more of why WIndows might be better. Meanwhile, Mac ads actually tell you why they are better and even who can help you with using a Mac while also saying why Windows is not the computer for you. All while also using a cast of celebrities like Justin "Mac" Long and John "PC" Hodgman (*who coincidentally uses a Mac*).

That's all I have to say so I'll end with this...
"But that's just my opinion."-Dennis Miller"

In short and as the ad says, "Hi I'm MegaDaffy and I'm a Mac.":)

I've never owned a Mac before. I've used them a few times and it was a bit weird since I've used PCs my whole life. But not bad.

I guess I really don't care either way. I do want to own a Mac eventually though, so maybe that will change once I do.

In a way I sort of feel like Macs are overrated. Maybe that's the wrong wording for it. I just feel like everyone likes Mac because it's the "cool thing to do".

I have a PC and it's a cheaper model, eMachines I think. It's FANTASTIC and I love it so much. I never have any big problems with it at all and I feel like it's so magical. I've named it too because I love her. Her name is Welma, LOL.

One of the thing I like about Macs is that (well I just heard this from a friend who uses them, don't know much about this) there aren't many viruses they can get at all.

That's because nobody wants to write a virus for 10% of the computers out there when they can cover the rest instead. If apple ever got the majority market share (unlikely) you'd see a huge upswing in Mac viruses. The fact that Macs don't get viruses has virtually nothing to do with the security of the operating system.

I do not like apple products they are too flashy and trendy for me. I refuse to ever buy an ipod, I had a Creative Zen MP3 player but had to upgrade to a Zune. The only thing is that Zune does not support asian characters because it's USA exclusive. Other than that I hate itunes and ianything. So I would never buy a MAC computer. I am very happy with my Toshiba Windows Vista. The only time I've ever used a MAC is at my elementary school. I never really paid attention to the type of computers at my college but now that I think about it they are in fact Windows Vista. I don't see why so many people dislike it so much. It's mostly the same thing as far as I can see. Only difference is you have to click the round flag button instead of "file" or "start".
