Yes, you do need to have an out of town friend visit to get the final Nook update. You also have to spend a certain amount of money, no clue how much.
I just lucked out that Krokodil bought it (since I have no type of Wi-fi) and we visited each other to change our stores lol.

Neither do I. My noly thought was that maybe when I get a Wii I can connect my DS and Wii versions and make them visit each other?
One of the citizens came to visit my house this morning and had nothing good to say abut it. :(

Oh really? Can you do that? I had no idea! I have a Wii and a DS but only have AC for the DS.
I have them come to my house and want to buy my things always. :cry: and they always choose things that I don't want to sell!

Hmmm maybe I'll get it for the Wii and see if it's possible cause I have that same problem! and it would give me something to play on my Wii for a change :D
