Building/Upgrading Computers

So after saving up money for awhile, I finally sat down and decided I was going to build a computer. I ordered all my parts, and despite learning that UPS is annoying to deal with if you're not home 24/7, it went relatively smoothly and I've had no problems so far.

My questions:
Has anyone built a computer?
Have you at least put something new in your current computer?
What are your specs?

Gonna shunt this over to the Computers and Video Games forum for you :)

I was wondering where my thread went. O:
Sorry about that, Jelly~

I've built several desktops, but you couldn't pay me enough to put together a laptop even from build kits. Unfortunately, I'm pretty much limited to a laptop at the moment, so I haven't built a system in about a year and a half. :)

That sucks. This was actually the first rig I've built, and I actually had to get a friend to help me wire some of it, but he missed the graphics card and hard drive, so I figured those out. I felt pretty accomplished for figuring out where everything went though. : D

And after he did the wiring, which I of course watched him do, I stared at the computer's guts for awhile to make sure I knew what went where.

I am incredibly clumsy. Like you wouldnt believe how clumsy I am...
So I always buy parts and let someone else put them in.
Unfortunately I'd have to buy a new case if I'd want to upgrade my XP computer ^^;
