I know. I can't really change them, or expect them to become more patient. Because if you try to teach someone to be patient it doesn't work. They have to want to, and do it themselves. Yeah, we are close. But sometimes you get annoyed with the peopel you are Closest to, because you are around them ALL the time, and you just get annoyed and sick of them from time to time. WOW ! Your grandma sure has made it very far! I have 1 grandma, the other one is my GREAT grandma, and she is probably the best person i've ever known. Well, it's vacation right now, but my family is still figuring things out right now, and I don't think maple is going to work any time soon, so i doubt I will be able to play right now :[ I don't have a facebook, I used to but my dad hated it, and I just deleted it, because I don't want to end up like my brother who is on it like..ALL THE TIME! You, know, like end up like those people that are obsessed with their status -- and other peoples profiles and what-not. I mean who really cares? I guess Twitter is pretty dumb as well. :p I think you should be in a relationship where both people involved should be doing what they can to make things work and giving equal amount of effort back like the other person is. If there is only one person doing all the effort or work, it's not going to be a happy relationship. Because that just shows that -that person doesn't care. And then no one is happy.

I started playing MapleStory in 2008 and I stopped leveling about six months before Big Bang hit. After Big Bang hit, it took my Bishop ten hours just to gain 100% from 138 to 139. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE THAT LONG! I was on four hours of 2x EXP, family reputation, and event 2x EXP. I quit shortly after and only go on to MTS merch for NX for other games and chat with buddies and my guild.

You're totally correct about my relationship, its always alcohol comes first in his life, he finally got his surgery for his wrist and got 3000$ workmens compensation check... he gave me 1400$ he owed me and 740$ in rent for my dad-- then he drank the rest pretty much and didn't save any money at all he has another 1000$ coming his way but not sure will that will end up. He tried to kill himself by taking multiple pain pills and luckily I was there to help him out. I love him but I can't continue taking this kind of abuse, I cheated and I admitted to it later... but it was because I couldn't get any love from him. My dad really likes him but sees what he is doing to himself and the other people living here don't want him here because he gets violent when he drinks and assumes way too much about what people think about him. My dad is trying to give him until the end of the month nothing has been said yet... but...

I know how being around family can annoy you all the time, my mom was like that even though I love my mother more than anyone next to my dad. You're at a tough age right now but will see differently once you gain your independance and that will help you appreciate them. Face book really sucks, I dont do it anymore... Well
in the maple world things are getting interesting, I see you got to level 75, Im at level 103 with Jasterion. PVP and Silent crusade... you should check it out.

That's not right...You should be first! That is so wrong. You shouldn't be with him then if he is treating you that way. You deserve better than that. His wrists were broken? How? Yes. I've reached lvl 75 a long while ago. But I stopped because it stopped working again. Then it finally worked about a week ago. Then I didn't know where to lvl from 75-80...I don't know the monsters levels anymore...They changed. From before bigbang the soul teddies weren't that high level. Now they are like lvl 96+ :gonk: I have just started doing the silent crusade. xD But Idon't know how far I will go on it. Congrats on lvl 103! :]

Well he got a sore on his wrist from repetitive movement kind of like carpool. They had to do surgery on it and open the sheath to let the tendons heal back a little more loose. He is supposed to be back to work in a couple weeks my dad is not happy with the current situation either, my dad is watching his drinking, the people who live at our house upstairs want him gone-- I'm annoyed by how much drinking he does and how much of little consequence it is to him how it affects everyone around him. This is his last chance with my dad whether he knows it or not. I'm trying to keep him from doing it, I really love him and want it to work but I guess I have to realize when I'm wrong and realize that sometimes you cannot help some people who refuse to even help themselves.

I'm glad to hear your parents are making a positive change, honesty is very important even though sometimes we don't like to hear it. Glad to hear that things seem to be falling in place for you and kudos to your dad for quitting the alcohol scene. It has been to ruin of many people.

Good place to level up is in new city which you can reach by the subway in Kerning City at the haunted mansion. Hopefully you got your 3rd job advancement, I heard you no longer needed dark crystals for it. you can kill scarecrows -- actually level 70 jesters in the haunted house each give you 1350EXP I think and there will be double exp this weekend so be ready. Maybe I can catch you online sometime. I may be on my Evan which is Methulsula -- he is level 62 right now. My Dawn Warrior is level 75 too-- perhaps I could adventure with him with you. Jasterion is becoming all mighty--

The Jump patch will be coming in which all warrior, mage, and archer classes will be getting buffed slightly and new skills. Something to squee about!

Exactly...if he cared enough. He would give an effort to watch Himself , and not drink. The worst kind is when they don't even think about the consequences and just do it. When they drink and forget all about you. It's not right and it's not healthy for them and the relationship. I don't know how much longer you would put up with that. But let me tell you, you can't wait around forever. You need to move on. If you aren't happy with how things are- you need to do something about it before you stay like this and go nowhere.

It is important. :lol: which reminds me of Vince Vaughn giving a speech about Honesty in the movie " The Dilemma" . That was funny and very true. You just have to speak up and tell it how it is. Or that person who "doesn't know" won't change and just assume things that are wrong about stuff.

I've already been leveling at the jesters in the mansion since I was level 60 something. I really just got tired of that place and was thinking of exploring somewhere else where I could level. So far... There doesn't seem to be another option/area on where to level. So I will just still to that.

Have the monster cards /book not been there before? I always pick up those cards ^^ The silent crusade is pretty easy - I think. :] I don't really get what the plant/pod/seed things that you grow- is all about?

Actually another place to level up that is good is in the desert Ariad or Magatia the alchemy town down from the desert town. Good Exp there too. Be careful monsters in that town are level 90 and above though, desert is good but jesters are the easiest. PVP is a quick way to level up too actually. Don't know aobut the seeds and pods either acutally. I need to find out.

I've been able to get onto maple more now. But still don't stay on for very long. As the game is almost pure grinding. However. Now that I look back on the old years of maple, leveling is way easier than what it used to be.

Well guess what, he's still around -- I stuck my neck out to help him get his job back and he got it now-- he's saying he wants to move out and have his own stuff after he told me he wanted to work things out -- but now he pulls this saying I'm too controlling-- so he wants to move in a ghetto hood with a black man and his wife knowing he's racist as hell -- they both drink which is a recipe for disaster on his part-- he got arrested over the weekend for Drunken disorderly!! It's just been one mess up after another --- it's gotten to the point to where it's just embarassing anymore...

How is everything in RL going for you? I haven't been on Menewsha in quite some time-- I have been trader and been logging on Gaia as I have a Maple thread on there as well.

I get on maple too but I have 5 other characters so I don't see you on when I'm logged on those-- RIght now I'm playing my Cleric whom I have at level 56 now-- once I get her up to level 60 then I will do my Wild Hunter and get her up to level 40 then my Mechanic which will be from 35 - 40 as well... Then Back to Jasterion who is now at level 110!!!
What do you think about the Ascension Patch? All the mage, warrior, and archers' skills have been revamped!!
The exp for monsters 10 levels below you is only 50% what it normally is which really pisses me off and the drop rate is halves as well...

I do that facebook maple and it gets your main character more exp and mesos-- if you have the patience for it that is. lolz.

Actually the Chaos Patch introduced professions such as doing alchemy, mining, herbalism, smithing, crafting jewels, and something else... but anyways. That was one. The other was PVP which is interesting, its definitely worth looking into. And the new Ascension Patch which was originally known on KMS as Jump has revamped mages, warriors, and archers. Also new PQs are now around and another feature known as the stone of virtue which automatically takes you to places where it is level appropriate to train at. It's really worth looking into. Another patch around Christmas time will be coming out called Legends which will be introducing three new classes

The Demon Slayer, Mercedes, and the Canon Shooter -- all online you can look up. They look pretty cool!!
These classes will be on the Legends Patch for everyone's information. :)

Evan is really fun though ^_^ the storyline was super cute

I remember when the Evan came out I remember that was about the only class I saw around and about -- I had just started last October and thought it was just a pet at the time. The new maps aren't as good as the old ones, I really miss them. Leveling up is so much easier now. Some users also complain that it is not as rewarding.

Yeah leveling is a lot easier... I had a lv 47 or so in 2 days :lol:

The map is a lot worse. I hate that "center spot is the only way to get somewhere" theme it has now. It makes it less realistic, and more "bland" so to speak because you wont see something like that in most other game maps. It's too...... simple?

Yea unfortunately the maps suffered greatly during the Big Bang Change, there used to be pits on the way from Hennesey and it took longer to walk there making the cabs seem more appealing -- now it takes no time at all to walk wherever you want to go. I just created two new character on Windia for a gaiaonline guild that someone is starting -- only problem is- is that you have to be online to receive the invitation and most of us work and it's really hard for some of us to be online at the same time... I can't wait for the Legends Patch when they bring three new classes -- hopefully by Christmas.

Side Note: Hopefully Nexon will gives us all some free NX Cash for the holidays as a gesture of good will towards all Maplers lol hehehehehehehehhehehe.

@The Wandering Poet ~ The traps was part of what made it such a challenge even though it didn't do a whole lot of damage it was still pretty fun. I'm actually on Scania for the most part.

I have seven different characters on Scania which is my main account Jasterion who is an Ice/Lightning Mage at level 110. I just started on Windia because some people on gaia started a gaia guild on there so I made characters there, I made a Warrior who is female and named her Muerillo and then made a Blaze Wizard and named him Fireandi. The other six characters are all on Scania along with my main Jasterion.

@Lenora ~ Why would we not want to play with you? Just get acquainted with the game so far Scania seems to be the consensus of people on this thread that people play on. Including me, Wandering Poet, and my friend on here Ignus. What class are you going to make? If you have any questions feel free to ask, we will help you however we can. Well as soon as I can get my computer fixed I will be able to get on whenever I like, so I have to use my dad's computer to get on which really sucks at the moment. I didn't get to play any Maple yesterday -- I got to get my two characters on Windia up to at least level 20 before I get back to my Mechanic on Scania whom I'm trying to get to level 40. Then I need to get my Wild Hunter on Scania to level 40 as well -- then I reset back to my main account which is my Ice/Lightning Mage currently at level 110 which I will gain five levels to 115. Before running back down the list of characters I have and gain them each five levels. Almost at 4th job advancement I can't wait to see how strong my Main will be once he reaches level 120. I may just go ahead and get him there lol :)

I have an Evan as well on Scania by the way at level 70. They are lots of fun -- weak at first but get really powerful as you progress. I haven't played a Dual Blade yet, I hear they were nerfed really badly-- now a lot of users complain that now they are too weak.

My dual is plenty strong... as is my evan, my only problem is my evan dies in 3 hits so I really need to level with my wife cause she's a cleric XD

The biggest reason I can't play MS that well right now is the lag. Monsters run in place a lot o.o
