Thats umm....very off topic. And almost sounds like you are trying to get people to go get the game. If there wasnt a monthly fee...I might have considered playing it.

To be honest, I expected more. The game became very casual and boring. In addition to a dynamic animation and bloody battles nothing impressive. Even choose to race your character can not.

Do you have the console or PC version? It's not quite the same as actually picking an elven back story but there's a mod that allows you to play as an elf. :)
I'll likely be using it, but that's just because I seem to be one of the few people around who actually likes the elves' new designs.

Wow I thought I was one of the only ones that liked their new design.
I'm not alone anymore!

I've seen so much hate towards the design on the Bioware forums.
At least this design distinguishes them from the other races; I was always slightly baffled when playing Origins as a City Elf. My character had hair that covered her ears and yet everyone could tell she was an elf despite a complete lack of distinguishing features. I know she was short, but not so short that she couldn’t possibly be human. D:
I think it fits nicely with the lore of Dragon Age. That and I just find the curve between the brow and nose works well. Same goes for the Na'vi from Avatar, couldn't stand the film, but that facial design is lovely. Fairly similar when you study it I suppose.

I liked dragon age 2 it was good, but it just wasn't as good as the first one in my opinion. I was somewhat upset that you only stayed in one city the whole time. But otherwise it was good, I'm somewhat hoping though that this game is setting the scene for a big story that gets more exciting in the next instalment.
As for the new elves design I didn't like it at first. I mean I understand that they wanted something new and there wasn't that much of a racial difference between humans and elves in the first game aside from the ears, but I also somewhat don't understand why there was much need to change it. It just seemed a little unnecessary to me. But otherwise I don't really have a strong opinion about it either way. :)

Story-wise and customizability, Origins was better.
Gameplay-wise, DA2 was better.
The combat of 2 was very well done, more fast paced and more smooth, despite not being able to zoom the camera out very far.

that is very true actually. The combat was very well done in DA2. My character still sort of carried on walking after I had stopped but I kindof assume that's my xbox controllers fault rather than anything else. And yeah it somewhat annoyed me that I couldn't change my armour as often as I would have liked to, but meh I could live with it. I'm also glad that they changed the money system. I never had any money in DA:O but you know even though you need money for the story in DA2 you still end up with quite a bit of money to spend.

I finished my second play-thru with over 200gold...I never had to buy anything really, except upgrades for my team. I got all my armour peices from quests.

I did as many of the quests as I could possibly find, and the armour that I got given from most of them just wasn't as good as what I had, possible because I got the Black emporium DLC, and they stuff they give out for free is awesome let alone the stuff you can buy there.
But yeah I struggled to find things that I actually wanted to buy, aside from companion armour upgrades when I saw them.

I know what you mean. I rarely bought any items.
The only things I ever bought were the armour upgrades for my companions and some of the weapons and armour from the black emporium.
Plus I also had Ser Isaac's Armour for my rogue, which lasted me like the first half of the game and looked totally badass.
