Pokemon: What would you change?

What are things that you have always wanted in Pokemon but have yet to receive? What are things you wish they would get rid of. =__=

I want a new battle system. YES I know the old school stuff is really fun. But I get tires of turn based battle styles D: I want something like Zelda >: D Action RPG! They could so pull it off!

I am tired of a lot of the attacks that are either useless or revamped versions of what already existed.

I want to be able to have the new guys in my old games. :<
I really only want one pokemon out of Black/White, Bachuru and Galvantula (evolved form).

I'd like to see a pokemon mmo style game, kind of like WoW.
When you start up the game, you choose which of the 5 current regions you want to start in and get to choose one of the starters based on where you start.
From there you go out and battle and catch other pokemon like you would normally, except that it's a large open world, and there's other players around battling and catching pokemon too.
While walking around the world, it's just your trainer, but if you get close enough to aggro a wild pokemon, then you send out the first one in your roster. Once your pokemon is out and ready to battle, your trainer stays still and you then take control of your current pokemon, with an action bar with all of its abilities etc.
You take on the gyms in your current region like you normally would too, then go for the league. Once you're done with the league, you can then head to one of the 4 other regions and do those gyms as well. With the gyms in each new area scaling in difficulty for you.
You could also choose to battle other players by requesting a battle with them.
And a dungeon system could be implemented too, where you team up with a few other players and explore the various caves or mountains for items or rare pokemon.

I've put a little thought into this :P

Ark: That sounds amazing O_O I also hate how easy pokemon can be XD I always beat them really fast, and I have no interest in collecting them all anymore. But if we had a world like that for them, collecting them would be epic.

Also in a world like that being able to decorate your own home would just be amazing.

I don't know. I like the traditional battle system of pokemon, but I agree that the time it takes to wait for each turn makes me sleepy... and I end up losing interest in the game because it doesn't keep me entertained enough. I was mostly drawn to the game because you own pokemon and train them etc, just wish one battle wouldn't take up so much time. You end up equipping an item that skips random pokemon battles and becoming out leveled.... I don't think an action battle would make it more interesting for me... But I don't really know if theres a solution to how boring the battle system is atm. >_< ...

It's really a cute design of a game and I love playing pokemon games. Just wish each turn didn't take a lifetime.

Edit; Maybe they could do another pokemon-related game (but not apart of the main series) where you can influence the people in your city to what kind of pokemon they're interested in. You could catch pokemon for them and have stats based on how well your city is doing, lols. I think that would make a fun side-game.

Ashe: You reminded me that a couple other things I'd really like would be a better story line. For some reason I could never connect with the story and they were pretty dull after sometime. Another thing I'd like would be more side-quests with NPCs. Maybe a thing where there is a club you can do quests for and you can earn rare items and pokemon if you work hard enough, and the quests could be optional and challenging. I have not played the most recent games so if they have that I may have missed it. XD

Regarding the battle system, I would like to see something more like Pokemon stadium with an interactive battle system. That is to say that you would control the pokemon yourself with your control stick, and the buttons on the control would each be keyed to one of your four selected moves for any given pokemon. The speed at which you moved would be determined by your speed versus that of your opponent (a rapidash would run circles around a slowpoke for example). Dodge buttons, likely on the back of the controller would also allow you to dodge if timed properly, making for a more realstic battle system that showcases not only the talents of the pokemon but the skill of their trainers as well.
