Castlevania: The Old The New
Lords of Shadow is the latest release in the Castlevania series. I think it's actually pretty great! I was skeptical at first because I'm used to the side scroll versions, but I have to say I really like this one!
What out of the ones you've played do you favor? |
Hello there-- I bought Lords of Shadow for my Play Station Three-- but it kept glitching on me with lines everywhere, so I bought another one and it did the same-- I was going to keep it but ended up taking and trading it up to three times and finally gave up and got another game. It looks good and plays good from what little I did play-- I made it to the third chapter until I just could not deal with the lines anymore. It is definitely a very challenging Castlevania game like the rest of them are.
I also recently bought Castlevania Chronicles for the PSP which was Rondo of Blood and has Symphony of the Night--(one of my favorites) and the original edition of Rondo of Blood. I really loved the third installment of the series for the NES because you got to play as four different characters. I wished they would remake that one. Simon's Quest was an interesting story but the fact that there were so few bosses perplexed me and the fact that you could defeat Dracula so easily once you brought him back just took really took the fun out of the game. There were a lot of things that could have made the game epic had they fleshed it out a LOT more-- Watch angry Nintendo Nerds review on it on youtube. HILLARIOUS!! First Castlevanis is just fun... Super Castlevania 4 was definitely a good one- but I liked the music most of all in that game. Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness are the only other two I have played. Oh and the first one they made on the original gameboy. |
Oh wow! I wonder why you had such and issue with it! :O I have never had that problem. D: You could probably watch the story on youtube though, it's really nice.
