As for the icons thing, I could probably entertain discussion for pages and pages on the matter, but I seem to be the only one who wants to talk about it. :)

I prefer having a cluttered desktop. It makes it feel... like home. Logging in day after day to see my colorful arrangement of icons and great games makes me a special kind of happy. :)

I only have one rule, though. My icons can never go over my background. If it does, that will annoy me until I fix it.

I'm probably going to change this one soon, as I'm in a pretty gruesome mood.

What do you want to discuss about icons, Sai? I hated how massive the Vista icons are by default, was so happy when I found out how easy it was to resize them!

I just don't see how program shortcuts on the desktop are even relevant anymore. The Vista/7 start menu puts everything right there within a handful of keystrokes, and this includes places for the most part.

I realized yesterday that I might want to change up the images I'm using for wallpapers as my boyfriend's brother and his kids wanted to use the laptop. But I like the images I use.

And on the subject of icons, I don't mind having them as long as it doesn't look too bad. That said, I think I need to clear mine up a bit.
