Solitaire
Yepp, one of those games that come with your computers or music players. :yes: I actually enjoy playing it to pass time (i.e waiting for something to load). Does anyone else touch these default games?
|
I used to like playing internet checkers once I realized I was playing another human, not the computer. Pinball was a fun game to play too, but I don't play them much now. I do still play solitaire on the computers in stores like Best Buy if i get a chance or if I have time while I'm in the store.
|
I see. I do pretty well in checkers against computers, if that counts for anything. :sweat:
Sometimes I just plan to play one game and end up spending a half hour... :cry: |
I play them when my Internet's shot. |
Yeah, I play it when my internet dies too. But sometimes I get carried away and forget to check if it's working again... :sweat:
|
I play Mahjong Titans while I watch TV shows on my laptop. I have this thing for multitasking.
|
I don't like Mah Jong Titans, just because matching isn't exactly how to play mah jong... :sweat:
And I can only pass that game when I have a certain arrangement. :cry: |

^ This. Happens to me all the time. :rofl:;;; |
That reminds me that I wanted to buy myself a new mah jong set ...
I have a favorite solitaire game that uses two decks. (Using real cards of course -- I've not found it digitally yet.) I've only won it a handful of times, and to show you how hard it is my great-grandfather, in all his years of playing it, claimed he never once won. My mother claimed she won it only twice. I just don't enjoy playing solitaire on the computer. It just doesn't seem as fun as real cards. Plus, I look at the glowy screen too much as it is. |
My mom loves Solitaire. I usually just play pinball though. I was never one for card games. Unless strip poker counts XD
|
@Dan: I can teach you how to play [chicken] four-player mah jong~ :angel: [even though I'm a newbie at it myself cough cough]
@Guivre: That sounds really cool. I don't have decks that match, so mixing them up and playing a game of solitaire would be difficult for me (Bee cards =/= Cardcaptor cards, haha). But I would love to try, are there any instructions online? @Prince: Yeah, my mom is actually ridiculously good at FreeCell. I have no idea how she's so good at it. :sweat: |
That would be great :eager: |
... How about I teach you in... ENGLISH?! :D
|
That's what I usually do too Aerinn! Whenever I have to wait for a download to finish or for a page to load, I usually play with Solitaire to kill time. :P |
@Baby: Right? XD
Recently I visited my cousin's house, but they have slower internet speed than what I have at home, and I didn't want to impose on their internet so I played Solitaire and Minesweeper the whole day. :sweat: |

That, would be awesome. :XD |
If I play any of them it's usually Spider Solitaire but I haven't touched it in years. I used to play them a lot more when I was first introduced to computers but now there are much better games you can play online for free so I'd rather play those. I hardly have the free time to play around with them though.
|
@Aerinn -- it looks like the game I play is a form of Colorado Solitaire, but the way I learned it makes it even harder. Hmm I'll keep looking to see if I can find one with the rules I use.
|
@zig: I used to go for Spider Solitaire, but I realized that regular Solitaire was more challenging to me. :sweat:
@Guivre: Much appreciated. :yes: |
I love me a good game of solitaire. I remember one time I played solitaire so much that the computer had to reset the number of times I played.(It was around 600-700 games played)
|
Right now my game count is at 1763. I have no regrets. ♦_♦
