Now, this can be for both the original and the PSP port. I was wondering who all out of the Persona fans have picked this title up? Did you import it when it released 12 years ago? Or did you wait for the PSP release last month?

I managed to get a copy of the PSP one recently and while it is not like the Persona 3 and 4 games, I am really enjoying it. Battles are done a lot differently and demon negotiations are key in being able to summon new Personae.

For those who have played it, what are your first thoughts? Also, let's keep spoilers to a bare minimum. ;)

It's a great series. *nods* I will say there is a big difference between the gameplay of Persona 3/4 and the ones that came before them. Persona 3 or 4 would be good entry games for the series though if you like old school gameplay, Persona 2 would be a good starting point. Also, since Persona 2 is in two parts, it doesn't seem to matter which you play first. Eternal Punishment which came out on the PS1 was released outside of Japan before Innocent Sin was even though Innocent Sin was the first of the two.

Released on September 20th. :) And I read that it's a good 50+ hours to beat the game. I got about 20 on it already.

I haven't played it nor do I own a PSP. Though if I ever do, I'm so buying Persona 2. 8D I've played Persona 3, still have not finish it yet. ^^; I'm quite lazy and stuck...
