Shadowmere is not essential, but is pretty much resistant to everything except cliff-diving. xD
I don't use destruction magic but I've used it to level up archery. OH FUN TIP. If you do the thieves guild questline, eventually you'll get a member who practices archery on dummies in the cistern. FREE STEEL ARROWS. The NPC seems to have an unlimited supply. I use him to stock up when I'm running low. --- Two Worlds 2 is much better than Two Worlds. It was very fun to play the original game, but the dialogue was awful, the map system was awful, several quests were broken for me (that one oriental-style town where you get the... whatever it was... gem? orb? thing? was supposed to kill everyone at the end of the quest, but for me no one died and the quest didn't register progress). There were also a couple of quests where I had NO idea where I was supposed to go in order to progress. Also, taint jokes. The part that I genuinely liked as good game design was combining weapons, armor, and spells in order to improve them. The rest of it was just hilarious because it was so damn campy. So yes, I agree, it was enjoyable, but it was still a bad game :) |
Well...I agree about the broken quests and such. But I really only found a broken one in Two Worlds 2. It tells you to go through a door in the base of a cliff on the beach...even gave you a key. Door would NEVER open. I'm planning on going back eventually to try it, to see if they patched it, but so much else to do in the mean time.
Also, if you go to Solitude, where the Imperials are shooting arrows, its the same thing for arrows. But those arrows are so crappy for me, I don't even bother. Not even to sell them, since everything I loot right now is averaging 1000g each. |
I can't loot stuff anymore really... the stuff I smith is way better, but I don't have the speech perk to give shop keepers more money. Most of the things I try to sell are too expensive for shops to buy from me xD
The only things I bother looting are jewelry, decent arrows, soul gems, and smithing materials (except dwemer, because it's really flippin' heavy). And I take every gold piece I find. Burial urns ftw! Occasionally I'll also loot alchemy ingredients, like void salts and ectoplasm, because I use them to improve special armor and weapons (like my Nightingale armor and Ghostblade). Oh, and if I see an item with an enchantment I don't already know, I'll take that too. But that's rare these days. |
I'm a hoarder, so I use my God Mode to lug all the stuff I want with me, so I often end up with like forty Daedric armors and weapons in my inventory. :XD;; And thousands of various alchemy ingredients. |
*Find extremely powerful - awesome sword.*
*Pick up* *YOU ARE OVER ENCUMBERED* Aw shiii... |
I don't know how you would play a tank character. There's no way to collect heavy armor easily, let alone wear it all the time. I think my modified carry weight is up to 380 or something, and I still get over-encumbered.
I don't carry spare weapons like I used to :/ |
Lul I made a female link on Oblivion xD I didn't make the mods though.
|
Why would you want to play in Oblivion or Skyrim as anyone but the characters created for those worlds, after all the hard work they put into designing it? The hundreds of books to read on the subject? The dozens of individual flower ty
what is this i don't even |
Because its funny >3>

lmao, Because I find it hilarious to see some guy/girl who totally doesn't belong wandering around in Tamriel. :XD |
I still don't get that... I'm happy enough not walking around as a lizard with mammary glands.
|
Argonians are weird. Are they reptiles or mammals?! Warm blooded or cold blooded?? So confusing. :gonk: |
You can wear the dragon masks, too (if you're wearing robes). So that's four pieces ;P
|
I did have a modded daedra that I made all pretty and demonic which I ran around as for a while in Oblivion. But like you said, at least it's from the same world.
But those dancing Vocaloid mods and everything, what the heck.. there's plenty of software to do that as standalone projects, so why would anyone want to ruin a perfectly good game by overwriting it with that? |
The only game I've ever bothered modding is Minecraft, to get some high def texture packs. I've also looked into some server mods but the admin for my server is being a jerk and likes vanilla gameplay on smp. We don't even have anti-griefing mods D:

Oh, right. Forgot about the helmets because I never wear them as a Dremora. The helmet cuts off their hair and makes their horns disappear, which in turn makes the Dremora look awkward and weird, so I'd rather have less defense than ruin their look. :gonk: It's no wonder the Valkynaz don't wear helmets with their huge horns... |

I wish there were race-specific meshes for the helmets and hoods. :( |
I had a conversation today about the dragons. I asserted that blood dragons are the most difficult, but my husband said that named dragons were hardest. I've never had trouble with named dragons though. The easiest one for me was probably the on in Blackreach (Vulthuryol), excepting the ones that are just called "dragon".
In order of difficulty, I think it's blood dragon, elder dragon, named dragon, ice dragon, dragon. Alduin probably ranks somewhere between blood dragon and elder dragon. It wasn't a terribly difficult battle for me, it just took longer due to the multiple stages. I haven't fought any ancient dragons yet so I can't really comment on them. Any thoughts? P.S., I remembered why I hated riding horses so much. You can't flipping use clairvoyance while mounted. If that was the only thing I could do on horseback, I'd be perfectly content. |
I am still on my first play through with Skyrim. I chose a Dark Elf female named Natyri. She is a Theif/Hunter since my weapon of choice is a bow and arrow. She is level 46 and has yet to gain more levels as I plan to do more things within the game. I have thus far completed the Main storyline, The Dark Brother Hood and the Companions guild. I have not made any armor in the game what so ever. As I find, just when I want a particular weapon/armor I tend to find it on hopeless victims! I own all but 1 Home in Skyrim, this would be the one in Windhelm. I have ALL the dragon priests masks, and every single piece of ebony armor/weaponry you can think of. I have not however found any Daedra weapons, but I did stumble across a Daedra cuiress! I know most shouts, and have killed 'ALOT' of dragons, the only dragon to best me would be the Ancient one ;) However it shall not best me for long. My favourite quest line would be that of the Theives Guild, I am on the last quest for it, So I should complete it soon. I currently bank at around 5k gold, However I have had my riches ;) as you can tell by owning pretty much all homes. I am somewhat of a fanatic when it comes to organisation, so I find when I purchase a Home, I like to decorate it accordingly. Natyri is married to Farkas, because when I joined the companions guild, I immediately liked his character. I have gone through several Horses...... This is because they are not awesome, like they should be. And apparently cant withstand long drops off cliffs. (Neither can Natyri for that matter) The funniest moment in Skyrim had to be when I had a follower with me. I found a Giants camp and had told the follower to stay. For some reason, the follower had its own plans and charged straight up to this giant, who in turn Bopped them several miles into the sky. After I had finished laughing like hell, I proceeded to kill the giant, and to be be once again joined by my follower 10 minutes later ;).
|
lmfao At being bopped several miles into the sky...:XD |
|
What? So that's why the story lines for the guilds where so short.

I'm very, very skeptical about Elder Scroll Online.
On the surface, it seems like it would be a good idea, but honestly, I just don't know how well Elder Scrolls game mechanics would work in a multiplayer enviroment. |
