Final Fantasy XIII-2
 

I'm curious as to who all picked this game up recently. Did you play the first one and what are your opinions on it? Do you have hopes that this sequel will fix any issues you had with the first?

Also, feel free to share your progress on collecting the many monsters. Remember to use spoiler bars if you plan to discuss something story-related. :)

I have them both(had the second Pre-ordered along with the guide so that second time through I can get everything), but still haven't beat the first. I messed up badly, and had to restart. Now, I'm having trouble with a part I actually had finished that pissed me off to no end before. xD

As for what I'm expecting, not much different, it was a good game(for what I did do), and had BEAUTIFUL graphics. Music was great, definitely hope its on par if not better than XIII.

I still need the guide. And I haven't beaten the first one either. I stopped when I got to a certain boss. However, I forget which one it was.

I like the addition of the travel system and the monster collection.

I got close to the end. Thankfully, I didn't have to restart from the beginning, since I did save before this Eidolon battle that is pissing me off(and its the last one too).

Wow how short is this game? O.o

It isn't short at all. FFXIII Ive played for over 20hours. And because of the amount of points needed to get your skills up, I will be continuing to play it until I have everything to beat the final boss.
