When my hubby first joined I laughed at him for how childish the graphics are and made the game seem like it was just for kids. But I started playing around and now I am just as addicted XD
Though I'm really more a crafter/gardener then a duelist (balance and life are my schools so I'm a helper wizard XD) I am amazed at just how many things there are to do on the game.

How about it anyone else play?

I started playing a few years ago. All the ads just got me terribly curious, so I started playing around with it. Then I couldn't get off! Well, until a while back. A while before my year subscription expired, I just dwindled off it. When I stopped altogether, my singular wizard was level thirty-eight. That's what I remember of him. Sadly it took a long time to get to that level, since I worked by myself...

Maybe I'll get back into it sometime...

Oh well I've only played for about two month and still wouldn't get a years subscription just yet XD I have a hard time having most things entertain me for that long. Though all the different worlds fascinate me so I'm pretty driven to see them. But Avalon and Celestia are two I really want to see and of course they are at the very end of the story.

I played for about a week before deciding on a smaller one, and really got into it. I thought I'd last a year, but after my dreadful lack of communication with others made it so difficult to move forward in the game, I just quit. Celestria and Avalon are the newest worlds I believe. I know someone who plays and they did mention it.

I might go take a look at the new worlds. There are probably images around Google of the new worlds.

You know I have seen all kinds of ads for it and when I go to gamestop to by my games I see the cards for it and also I see another spinoff from it called Pirates which I'm guessing is in a different world of course.

Now that Pirates101 came out, I've kind of got addicted to it. I'm on my second Pirate right now while they develop more storyline for what now is the 'end' of the game. In fact, I've got the game open in another window while I lurk through Mene.

Interesting, I wonder if they will come out with a Warriors 101 or a Thieves 101 kind of deal at some point LOL! I think i will watch some youtube videos on it later just to get a feel for what it is.

Oh, I'd hope so! I mean, Warriors101 sounds more plausible than anything specifically centered around thieves. But I'd die to see something like Ninja101. That would be. Amazing.
I think I have some images of areas through the Spiral you can visit... I might go find a few good ones...

Who knows, maybe after they make a couple more classes they may merge the worlds where they can interact?

That could be interesting too... but Warriors 101 sounds like the most next likely.

I don't know... The art styles are a bit different in each game, I don't think it'd look quite right. But there are instances in Pirates when you have to do quests for a couple professors who specify they're from Wizard City.

Sounds pretty plausible. Although I'm hoping for more things in the Crown shop soon, and more quests for level 50 pirates.

I watched a wizard youtube with different fire spells, it kind of looks like a turn based strategy game. It looks kind of cool, still not totally sold on the game yet, perhaps I will watch more of it.

I want to watch a bit about the Pirates game too.

Both Wizard and Pirate are strategy based when it comes to battles. I've found the easiest way to win in fights like that is target one villain at a time.

If you haven't found a Pirate video yet, this is a good combat show.
The player is a witchdoctor in this area (a good character for draining energy from enemies and using it to heal yourself).

Interesting so Pirates do have some (Magic-using or Priest like abilities for recovering skills... this battle system looks more interesting than wizard though.

Oh, sure, there's magic usage. Mainly for witchdoctors, but other classes can spend points to learn skills from a witchdoctor.
And I agree, I like this battle layout more because it gets you up close with what you're fighting. Not only that, but as you advance, you gather more companions for your crew, and since I usually go it alone, so to say, they're a real help.

It's almost a shame they didn't do the Wizard battle system like this too... they have the potential to really make it look good too.
