Wesker mentioned that Steve may turn out like he did because of the virus in Ione of the rail shooters, think it was. but it is mentioned that there is positional for Steve's return.

If Steve returns the question would be, would he retain all the memories of his former life or would he be someone else completely...also not one hundred percent sure about Weskar's passing... who knows... that could be interesting what could happen... it's some possible paths for resident evil seven... I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

lol, now it makes me more anxious for it to come out. Other than those what do ya'll think will be possible plotlines? Who would ya'll like to see (or see back) and who do you think will be possible characters?

Billy is a must, want to know what he's been at. One of my favorite character. I want to replay RE0 now just thinking about it haha. We should get Ark and Bruce from Survivor and Dead Aim back haha. Never beat either of them so no clue if we find out what happens to the guys or not. |

I feel like they should have made Resident Evil 4 (and 5 and 6) into a spinoff series instead of a main series game, it barely qualifies as survival horror anymore. I'm glad to read the devs are trying to go back to their roots for the next game, it just doesn't feel like a Resident Evil game to me when I'm running around doing backflips and punching boulders. |
Yea the survival horror series has stepped up to a horror action genre style in my opinion. too

Any new characters that you would like to see (types of characters) or think might come next? What did you think about Piers, Helena, and Jake? Think we'll be seeing them again? I've mostly played 4,5, and 6. (I've got the ds remake of 1. I think it's called deadly silence, it's been a while since i've played it). So I guess I haven't seen the deviation from survival horror, like those who have played resident evil from the first game. |
Yeah 1-3 were Survival Horror
4 was like an horror shooter 5 and 6 feel more like action movies. Revelations was a better step towards horror would like to see more like that. But its been said several times that horror games don't sell well enough to be made so thats why games like Resident Evil and Dead Space are both going down the action roads. |
Although in some instance I did think that 6 did go back to the horror part. Not completely, but there is some thrill there, although most of them are in just leon's campaign. Don't recall any in the others. (It's been a while since i've played 6, been really busy, lol)

Has anyone played the console versions of Revelations yet? A friend and I played a little bit ( I think just the first chapter) on her 360. Anything that you like? Didn't like?

I noticed that Claire will be making a comeback in the new Resident Evil game: revelations 2. It will be released in 2015.

I have only owned one Resident Evil game. I think it was Resident Evil 2 for the ...Nintendo 64, maybe? or Sega Genesis? It was the one where you could choose your blood color. I was stuck on the first level forever.
