I only play during long breaks because I spend full days on it. Bedtime, school, and homework don't mix well with that. Weekends aren't long enough. Just when I really get into playing a family, free time's over. But, yes, I am cheating and working on Sims 1 houses right now. Shhh.

The question is, what more can they do to The Sims? A lot, actually, but how much more WILL they do?

Sims 1 does take less time because I can't change the color/pattern on everything. The process of creating a sim is definitely simpler. I could also say it takes the same amount of time because I'm better at making houses on there and try several different building techniques. I have more objects that I want to use. I tend to get rid of the premade Sims 1 houses and make my own. I rely on premades in Sims 3 and just change the colors of everything. That's a very long process.

How do you even find space for new lots? Do the Store worlds have such space, or did you build on an empty lot that was already there?

Do you think from Sims 2 to Sims 3 is a big jump?
Well, we will just have to wait and see how much is that big jump from 3 to 4. I just wish that they take note of the bugs/glitches/lags.

Don't you know you can plop a empty lot from world editor? The world editor is inside Edit Town panel, sizes ranges from 10 x 10 to 60 x 60. 10 x 10 is the smallest and the most popular building challenge as of yet. <33 You have to see how people cramp things in such a smaaaall size. XD

No, when I said how do you find space for new lots, I meant where are you putting these lots you take from the World Editor? o_o; I see no big enough empty spaces in my worlds… Except on steep hills, and that's no good for building!

I don't think I get you... x.x
I really need to rest. x.x
I have most of the store worlds, and there are nooks and crannies everywhere~ my Enclosure only 20 x 20.

Well, in the worlds that come in the game, there is literally no more space for lots. Maybe 10 x 10s, but I can't do that. Won't even try that one.

But 10 x 10 is FUN!
Hmm... It was so long ago since I play any world that come with expansion...
I think I remember adding in a 20 x 20 before? a consignment shop.

I honestly hope they go a bit backwards for Sims 4 rather than of forwards. Sims 3 was much too cluttered, Sims 2 was pretty good in terms of features.

I am excited though! It's going to be ages until it comes out though so we'll have to patiently wait and see what updates we bring us. That's the most exciting part.

BTW, I can't judge the Sims 2 to Sims 3 jump. I don't have Sims 2. I wasn't allowed because of my age at the time. Sims 1 to 3 is a massive jump! It's like going from a poor rural community to a western-style mansion.

I played the sims 2
but not as hardcore as the sims 3
I really wish I was more into the sims 2 because the expansion looks great!
I always said I would go back and buy the sims 2 online from amazon
But I really love the sims 3 graphics

I'm in the process of creating another game play because I think I house has a glitch or something
I havent been able to save in a while
I hate having to keep starting my game over
I guess I can start playing in Monta Vista
I have a few lots I bought from the sims 3 store I hope those are not what is slowing my game down

I want the sims 4 to be new and improved

Nothing been said.
We should be relief that it is not like the newly rebooted SimCity that requries online all the time. Sims 4 is offline play.
I remember reading something along the lines of they are improving the build/buy system of Sims 4.

I want them to make the clothing even more realistic

Nothing has been said
We have a long way to go before we get any info on the sims 4

how realistic? O__O How realistic you want the Sims' graphic to become?
To be as realistic as what we see in the mirror? O__O

Like, folds realistic? That would be neat, but I wonder if that can be accomplished.

I liked the Sims 1 build/buy mode setup… Sims 3 build/buy bothers me. Too much hunting for things, and the default arrangement is the one I didn't know how to access in Sims 1 for years. I prefer the other one. Plus, you can't scroll until all the items finish loading. That's a pain.

I agree! D: Sims 3 although very good for customizing, but not good in terms of browsing. D:
I would want a easier to search feature in the next version.

Fold realistic... oh lol, that reminds me of how the clothes mesh sticks to the body... x.x
So hilarious.

NOt sure about by name... x.x
XD Not like I will remember the name too. XD

I remember items more by their looks, color, style... x.x They should have better categories or sets.
