Forgot to mention, with the new streetpass/spotpass thing in the nintendo zones, I got streetpassed/spotpassed by a guy from Florida! I find that pretty neat, because we live in Kansas. That must mean they visited our McDonald's!

The awards ceremony gets cancelled if the winners can't show up. So in your case, because both you and your son placed and you two can't be on at the same time, it automatically gets cancelled. :(

Oh, those of you who have android or iPhones, theres this app called ACNL Guide by jRuston Apps and it's super good! You can check off which bugs, fish etc that you have and it tells you which bugs and stuff are available at certain times in the day that can be caught. It also alerts you of events, birthdays and has a badge checklist. So handy~
