I still need to meet up with someone to grab the Best Buy set. I haven't seen Belly online. I don't know if she would mind if I grabbed one off you? ^_^; If need be I can pay you off in bells. Just want to get those limited edition items.

Do the McD's work like the Best Buy items where you can buy more, or no? I think the monthly items aren't repurchaseable, which is a shame...at least they're MUCH easier to get.

BTW, don't forget to get your full moon dressers, folks! :)

I don't think we can buy the McD's items from the catalog. :( Belly tried the pumpkin pie for me and it wouldn't work. Sure what do you need? I think I have everything she's had from the Best Buy set. [yes]

@Izumi - I don't think you'll be able to tell if I'm online since we aren't "best friends" in the game. If you post a time here I should see it, though - I check in w/Mene several times during the day. I totally don't mind if you grab the set from someone else if it's more convenient. :3 They've just been sitting on the ground outside my train station.

Add: I have been able to order the monthly items (palm lamp, rainbow screen, etc) from the catalog, but definitely can't order the current Nintendo Zone items (pie, tea set, etc), unfortunately!

There's a Labor Day item today! Have to go to your town square and talk with Isabelle.

@llonka - how does getting items over wifi work when you have more than one character? Do you have to log yourself and both boys on every time?

llonka: GUESS WHAT! I cheated the system and downloaded an Afternoon Tea Set myself instead! I found that if you just name your internet connection that you are connecting your 3DS to one of the nintendo zones names you can download it from anywhere. First I wasn't able to connect to the American Nintendo Zones because our games are region locked BUT the Australian and European are the same games and they are also offering the tea set from their zones so I cheated and got it! :D

I nearly sold my full-moon vanity to someone for a piece of their 7-11 set heheh. They weren't aware that it was available to all countries but I was nice and told her. So close to getting a piece though heh.

I've thought about making a second character for that but I just HATE going through the start up process. IT'S SO ANNOYING!

You think you may be around earlier this evening? I'll probably be going to bed around 9pm EST-ish as I have to start waking up at 6am now to make sure the teenager is up and around and possibly walk up with her to the bus stop. We'll see...she may eventually tell me to just stay home. I just know dad is only going to go into work early for one week, and then it's on me to make sure she gets her butt up and around for the bus after that. :P

Ohhh renaming the wifi works for the McD's stuff too? That's interesting. I would be willing to give it a try, but I know my family is so wired in that if I was changing up the network names regularly I would get a lot of complaining. D:

Apparently it does! I tried the mcdonalds one with mine and the Nintendo Zone app thing showed up but I couldn't get anything in game because of different region games so I'm pretty sure it would work with yours! Can you make your phone a personal hotspot?

@Wonderlands - unfortunately, no. I just have a pretty basic Android phone on pay as you go. It's still a pretty nice pay as you go phone, but it doesn't have the ability to tether.

Pay as you go is so great! I'd hate to get a bill at the end of the month. That's a bit of a bummer that it doesn't allow you to do it though. :(
Hopefully your family wont get too angry with you if you change your internets!

If llonka doesn't mind hooking me up, I would prefer to go that way. That way I'm not having to tinker with the settings on the router. Either that or try the other McDs. I'm sure my husband will be thrilled to drive me down there just for my virtual items. :P

Oh also about pay as you go -- Honestly, it is the way to go. I work now in customer support for a post paid phone service and I can tell you that yes you will get a nicer phone, but you will pay out the butt for it. I guess if you live in an area where you have no choice (due to limited carriers/service issue in your area) or you really have to have that really nice phone this is the way to go. Otherwise, if you're looking for the most economical and also not having to sign a contract -- steer clear. D:

Yeah that's totally understandable! ^__^ If I didn't have the option on my phone I wouldn't have done it at all and just stuck with llonka's kind offerings. :) You should offer him a maccas meal for the drive, haha.

Definitely! When I got my first phone my mum was like, NEVER get a contract/plan phone and I've just kind of stuck with it since then. Like I have iPhone 4 but I bought it outright which is a much better deal long term than continuously paying a certain amount and then getting charged extra if you go over and stuff. I get super good deals when I buy credit too like internet and texts etc. My friends get so ripped off with their contracts.

So just getting items for Izumi then? I'm glad you figured it out Wonderlands, if you ever need anything else, I'd gladly get it for you. :)

About getting items with multiple characters, yes I have to log onto each of the boys' accounts. It took awhile but was worth it! I'm thinking about making another person for me to hold my path patterns, that way my main girl can have snazzy outfit patterns.

@Wonderlands - I'm not sure if they really will start asking for the other character, but in prior versions it seemed to happen a lot and it got on my nerves. ("I haven't seen Scab in a while.." type stuff.) I'm being stupid of course, it's not really a huge deal I suppose. [lol]

@Izumi - I can meet you tonight, sure. What time is best for you? (I'm on AZ time, which aligns with Pacific currently, so 3 hours earlier here).

@llonka - I can totally relate to the awkward waiting hubby thing, ha ha - at least you have the little ones as an excuse!

Guys, you know that manhole thing you can build for the Reset Center? Well I've been going in there and messing with Resetti whenever I see it open, and last night his brother gave me a gift! [eager]
