Ohh, that's neat! So many items! I wonder if they are all orderable from the catalog? I know I was able to buy the hibiscus clock from a house in my HH showcase, not realizing it was part of a special collection.

re:The Gracie sale - looks like discounted items from the Sweets set. The sofa is 64K today, didn't check the bookshelf thinger. I've not bought those as they don't really appeal to me (unless I ever make a sweetie alt to put all the overly cute stuff in). The new items she's putting in are kind of interesting though, looks like a playing card theme? Also she's selling a big-ass wedding cake today, dunno what that's about.

edit: ooh, I guess the sofa retails for 80K so that's a pretty good discount! If anyone needs to buy it let me know and I'll try to let you over.

edit2: Oh crap, looks like the card series is only here for the sale. Bummer! I don't think I have the gumption to grind bells to get it. Maybe a piece or two? It's pretty neat.

I feel you. I really need a retirement plan. So far the only thing I've come up with is "put lots of bells in bank and live off interest" but I've not gone further to see just how many bells I'll need in there before it starts paying off. As of now my monthly stipend is quite pathetic.

I looked up the wedding cake and apparently it's "quite uncommon" and only appears randomly during the sales, so I'll probably buy the darn thing this evening.

I don't have a savings plan. I'm still paying off my damn house. I've gotten the basement and top floor fully expanded...and I'm slowly working through the side rooms. Until I pay off my house and all extensions in its entirety...there won't be much in savings. I'll typically hit 100k then make a payment on the house of 50k and just keep that additional 50k on hand in case I need to go on a buying spree. Probably bad tactics but eh it's working.

You know my game once again gave me an error saying the card was removed even though it was still fully inserted into my DS. I powercycled the 3ds and it's working again...it's the only cart it does it on. It's kind of making me wish I bought the digital copy rather than the card. I don't know if there's something faulty with it....But this is like the 2nd or third time that it says it's been removed even when I don't remove it. I'm getting very cautious about putting my DS down without saving it. I finally recatalogued my items and I really don't want to do it again.

I think what I may do is switch to writing it down on paper, then once I've safely saved I'll save on the app. Gosh I'm so anal retentive, but you don't understand how distressing it is to think I have an item marked off in my app that isn't actually in my game.

@Izu: Sure! I've only done the visiting thing with Belly so I'll need my hand held to do it again.

Re Gracie items: Yeah, I'm too broke for her stuff too. Well, I guess I could afford some stuff, but I choose not to. Now that the citizens don't need anymore public works projects I'm focusing on paying off and upgrading my home. P:
I like the Sweets stuff though, because it's sweets... But I don't know where I'd put it. Maybe I'll make another character and let them have it.

I still don't know what I want to do with my house. I looove the polka dot set and decided to change it with the amethyst ore. It's so pretty! But I also like the fishing derby and bug off stuff. *pouts* I don't know if wanna make all furniture in my house purple or just do rare sets....

so Becky the chicken has moved in; right in the middle of my path. I got it to work though. I don't know if I'll her stay or not... there was plenty of other space for her booty to plant her house...

Some things I don't have extras in...it was toward the latter half that I got smart and made 2 other characters just so I could collect the promo stuff. I think it was cause llonka was having trouble making it up to McDs and I was grabbing an extra for her, and thought I might as well grab extras for anyone else who might of missed out.

It's hard not pulling the weeds I see!

Well I have the slushie machine, fedora chair and sushi platters in extras. I literally have two more that I can give out. I got 4 of each (one for each member of my town) and then kept one, gave one to llonka. So it's not like you're taking something that I only have one of, don't worry!!

My cartridge did the same thing this morning...said that it was removed. I have to be super careful to always save my game. I think it'll be alright? *knocks on wood* When it loaded up after that screen it recognized the cartridge...it was never removed.

Huh that's very strange that your game is doing that Izumi. I have no idea how to fix it though. :( Have you tried googling it? lol...


So I went on a path destruction rampage yesterday and now I regret it. Ooops. I'm the hunt for a new path and will be laying it down today...

I haven't tried googling yet...I may try once I'm finished with work tonight. Right now I'm finishing up my worksheets from my internship and just working on other work related stuff. (Not required, but I'm very oddly enjoying it...) I did my dailies today, after skipping them for a couple of days. One day I just flat out forgot, and yesterday was super busy for me (but I loved it!).
