Wow so lucky! It's amazing that it was practically free. It's good to see that you're enjoying it, it's such a good game. I've gotten lazy with it though. :p

I've been playing New Leaf nonstop since I've gotten it for Christmas. I really like it a lot but there are some things I miss from the DS to the Game Cube versions.

I understand in order to gain new customers Nintendo would have to cut out certain aspects out but I miss the small quirks. I miss Blathers blabbing on how each insect he hated or how the balloon presents were different things than the balloon furniture.

But the game overall is very fun and enjoyable. I like the abundant of new events, and more things to capture except when I first saw the centipede; I almost died.

The street pass is probably what I enjoy the most because of the presents, seeing what other mayors look like and their houses. Except now my basement is half filled with balloons.

I miss Bathers talking forever too. I was like what?!?! That's all he's gonna say?!?! :( And it sucks that the balloons only give out balloon crap.

I like being a mayor though and making it MY town.

I miss Blathers' blathers, but I do not miss only being able to turn in one fossil at a time. The balloons are lame once you collect the furniture set, which doesn't take long. Wish they'd mix things up a bit with those.

Me too, I wonder if they could do an update to change items in the balloons? That'd be cool!

Balloons are so tiring. I pop them to get the badges so I have a bunch of presents and silver slingshots littered around the place because I just can't be bothered, haha.

I love New Leaf so much. I've been playing Animal Crossing since I discovered the Gameboy version back in... 02? Maybe? I've definitely been playing this series for over 10 years. I actually got a 3DS just for New Leaf - I'm getting other games for it too, but I may not have ever gotten the system if it weren't for New Leaf. I love how much New Leaf has stepped up from the previous versions with all the new customizing options, especially when it comes to the town works projects!

I don't have time for it as much as I would like to - I usually only play every few weeks - but I love that it's always there for me. Whenever I need to relax, my sleepy little town of Ilian is waiting for me.

I love New Leaf too. I need to charge my DS and play around in Merlot tonight. I have a public works project to finish and try to get farther with my house!

What public works project are you currently funding? I'm doing Brewster's cafe, as I finally got the option for that. It's interrupted work on my park, though.

I'm doing the fountain lady.. I hope it's pretty when I get it done. Trying to make another little park thing.

I started over but since then I've been neglecting my town. You can find a list of my dreamies here but the rest needs to be updated so pay no attention to that.

I have the plain one too. Kind of regret where I put it, haha. I should get back into it. There's so many public works projects I didn't know existed!

Oooh I like the QR code thingy too. It's fun using custom outfits.

I had a bunch of Disney princess outfits and cute ground/floor patterns in my first town so when I started over, I named my town Acrewood (after Winnie the Pooh) so I'll have a Disney theme. ^^
