llonka, I'm doing purple, I just couldn't pass up purple roses

I have 3 purple roses. One safely stored away and two beside my house.

The purple roses are very pretty!

So I'm thinking about reseting my town... I'm just not happy now the way I have put things.. I guess that's what happens when you visit AMAZING dream towns... I might "move" to my brother's file, reset my town, then "move" back. Not sure yet, my other brother wants to try it too, and I'll let him do it first. [lol]

I've thought about restarting as well; the map I chose has a river that splits it across equally in two, which when I was a newbie to Animal Crossing seemed pretty sweet but now I see that it actually gives me very little room to make nice PWP setups... In the end though, I'm decently happy with everything else (especially my current villagers!) and it seems like too much work to start from scratch. [gonk]

Speaking of villagers, Zucker just recently moved in! He always makes me hungry when I see him. [drool]

Here's the two Android apps I use, Number 1 and Number 2. The second one is very nicely organized and even has pictures, though incomplete.

I've also thought of resetting, but I don't mind where I've put things in my town, like I didn't pay very close attention to the fact that I can't move my campsite but oh well

I don't want to lose the progress I've made there..and the villagers I want to keep

Hmm I've a made a lot progress too, but I dream of an amazing town. xD Villagers I care less except for Flora and maybe Tom. But they don't fit my purple idea...

My town is super rustic. [lol] I lost most of my special flowers when I was on hiatus, though I still have a couple golden roses about. I think I have a similar layout to Hammy where the river evenly halves the space, so it would be really hard for me to terraform it much. The largest open area is taken up with the town square.

For those wanting to start over, could you just get another SD card and swap it in when you wanted to play the new town? That way you wouldn't lose your old town? (Not tried, myself, so I'm not sure how simple it really is to swap cards out re: the game save data.)

Interesting idea Belly! I'm not sure if that would work or not... I have the New Leaf 3DS... guess it would be the same though? I may have a SD card I could try it on...

I want a town filled with cats, but I also want to collect all the animal pics.

I thought that you could only have one town per cartridge? I could be wrong though.

Your gold room was pretty impressive too though, not gonna lie. [drool] And I agree with Illonka, love all the purple roses.

Sorry, I meant those who have the downloaded version of the game rather than the cartridge. I was thinking, since they have to download the game to the SD card and towns are saved there, that a new SD card & redownload might be like a new (2nd) save. But after looking it up, it looks like that doesn't work unless you fiddle with the filenames to trick the game, which sounds like a pain in the ass.

I'm going to sleepwalk now. :)

I've just gone to Hammy & Elirona's dream towns. You both have such pretty foliage, and town improvements I don't have unlocked yet! Hammy, your sidewalks are amazing and I loved the cherry blossoms. :3 I see you have Curt, too! He's one of my favorites. Elirona, your house has some similar layout things as mine -- gold in back room (though yours is way more focused than mine, hee), Rococo on same side. Melba was going to give me a tour but she was feeling groggy. [lol]

My dream address is 4000-2288-1919 if anyone wants to visit. It's really not that special at the moment as I just recovered from massive weed overrun and emptied all the trinkets from my main room, but, if you get bored or whatever. :)

Thank you, Belly! Yeah, I love Curt; he's been with me nearly since my town started and I've denied him moving privileges on more than one occassion... I'm not too happy with my flowers though, I've been letting them run amok for waaay too long. But that's a project I'm saving for after I rework my house. [sweat]

Thanks. I did the path in an effort to stop myself from walking through my flowers. And the flowers are so I can grow more hybrids. I get A LOT of orange pansies. And I update once in awhile. I like to leave my town looking its best and have something for the dreamer to do and see. I leave my fossils and gyroids, if it rained the day before, in there as a sort of treasure hunt.

Its quite a chore to water them everyday, but the hybrids make it worth it. It also helps to keep my grass intact.

Do you have a gold watering can Kitty? It makes it so much easier!
