I had to go out yesterday and it was to a city and I went through a bunch of other cities and whatnot and omfg I caught soooo many pokemon and evolved a bunch of mine, it was great!

They got rid of that cause they got mad at pokegoggles. or poke vision. whatever the heck it was called . they through a toddler hissy fit. and removed poke lures and tracking. |
When I went to see Suicide Squad I was sitting the theatre and right outside there was a pokestop with a lure. So I was literally just sitting there, waiting for the movie to start and catching pokemon! Caught myself a Mankey.
Oh and today I hatched a 10km egg and got a Lapras! |

The movie was great! I enjoyed it. Also I caught a Growlith in a save-a-lot the other day. And I hatched a Meowth.

There's been quite a few updates on the app itself. Haven't actually played in couple of days. Might get back to it at some point, but I hate that they changed the tracking system. Makes it harder to find pokemon. [gonk] |
They say that they are going to update it with something better, but the real reason they changed it was because they were mad about the website pokevision that was using their tracking thing to locate pokemon and show people where there were in their area. Or at least that's what I heard.

Yeah, I read about that too. I personally never used that site. The owner of PokeVision stated that I wasn't meant to take the place of the tracker. It was just supposed to be there for help now that the 3 step tracker was down and the PokeVision site would be closed as soon as the in game tracking works again. There's still a few tracking sites tho. User based, like the ones you have to upload sightings yourselves. |
Pokevision doesn't work right now, for me it says that they are down? I guess they had to take it down cuz Niantic complained. I think that's what their twitter said at least.

So, I decided to download pokemon go this morning while I was wait in for a ride home from work, caught my starter but now I'm stuck at the name part. Every freaking thing I put in I get name not available. So, anyone got any ideas?

Hmmmm, I'd say pick the name you want and add random numbers at the end til you get one that isn't used? Also, I was at the fair in my town today and I caught a Scyther, it was awesome! (523 cp).

Haven't been playing this game in weeks. I just generally don't go out much and given I stand at work all day, a walk would kill my feet.

You could just use a lure and move around your house, i get a few pokemon withe that. Also just leave the game on when you're in the car and you can hatch your eggs. (Don't play the game in the car tho obviously haha)
