Final Fantasy XI Online
I know there's a FF Thread already,
- However, FFXI Online is a bit different and kinda big so I thought it should have it's own post. FFXI Online is like WoW, only better I think. My Character stats are as follows: NAME: Spicykitty RACE: Mithra HOME: Windurst SERVER: Pheonix Server JOBS: 75WHM & 75RDM SKY: Obtained MOON: Obtained SEA: working on it ToAU: still need it (My character is kinda retired for the time being... but I'll return to it soon) - So does anyone else play? What server are you on and what's your stats? I use to be on Kujuta Server but switched because of a friend. *smiles & winks* |
I have XI...
But I can't play it D; I asked my parents to buy it for my birthday when it came out, but on the box in TEENY TINY WRITING it sais that you had to pay $7.50 or how ever much it is per month. I never saw that when I saw it in the shop D; And of course, my parents refused to pay. So I have the game, but can't play it ;___; Wish I could.. It sounds so good! |

I tried FFXI a while ago but I couldn't grasp the game it was very confusing to me. Later on I got into WoW though :P
My sis is the one who had FFXI when I tried it, when she was taking a break from WoW she was gonna try out FFXI again, but discovered that they delete inactive accounts after 3 months of no use... so she was a little peeved and decided to try out another game |

on Seraph and im 75 BRD 70 WHM 52 WAR moon - nope sea-nope sky-nope lol im too lazy to do all the quests ^^;; haha and i play elvaan female ^o^ |
Ooo, awesome. I play as well. 75 blm, 75 bard, blah blah. Too much time spent, but so much fun. Fan art, the whole works here. One of those games that just affected me, lol.

I played FFXI for three years.... I quit last September due to overall exhaustion from endgame, drama, and my beloved ls breaking.

I never played that one O.o Because of the monthly subcribtion >.< It seems like a good game when you were a fan of the serie. I would have liked to test it with those little magic creature ^^ I suppose, they are lot of elf, human and cat girl in it >.< |

I installed it and the expansions and their registration servers were down and had been for like a week, so i gave up cos it wot even let me play!...me unluffed

i can't play it because i don't have very good online capabilities. i'm lucky my computer can run a simple site like this. i can't afford a new computer or game.

I'm very rarely interested in games that require a monthly fee. I don't play online games very often, so it's not worth it to me. However, I have to admit I'm curious about FFXI since it's lasted for a couple of years and seems to be doing well. If you guys can really recommend it as enjoyable, I'll consider it. ^^;

I love FFXI! I haven't played in a while though... I should... I only have a male Elvaan, lvl. 19 WHM and lvl. 15 BLM. But even though I'm kinda new, I still love the game! But I'm kinda stuck. I'm in Qufim and every time I log on no one ever invites me! I wait for ever and no one! I asked the people in my LS and they said just wait it out. I mean I've been invited into parties before but not for long enough to lvl up... Sigh...

I was disappointed that the eleventh installment to the Final Fantasy series was online-only. Why couldn't they have made it its own separate thing, like simply "Final Fantasy: Online." I think giving it its own actual number just kind of ... I don't know. It's not accessible to everyone this way, and it just kind of feels like it doesn't fit. I'm sure it's a great game and everything, but I haven't been able to play it, so I wouldn't really know... I don't know that my computer could handle it, for one thing, but then there's no way I could pay to play every month and stuff...

My boyfriend is/was really into Final Fantasy XI.... and spent countless in game hours on it, leveling several jobs. It was more his life than real life, to be honest.
To the best of my knowledge, he was a Elvaan Male, on the Titan server. I know he has Sea and Sky, but I don't know of Moon. He has a 75 Summoner, 75 White Mage, 60 Black Mage, 58 Blue Mage, 60+ Puppet Master (his favorite job) and 37 Warrior, and 75 Theif if I recall correctly. I think that's like, insane, or something. lol I really tried to get into the game.... but I just couldn't. Constant leveling just isn't my thing, and from my understanding, the money system on there is completely unstable. I felt like I was just plopped in Windurst and left to figure out everything by myself.... and I didn't care for that. Kinda broke my boyfriend's heart. :-/ But, I do play WoW with him and I enjoy it very much.... so that's sort of helped. |
