Guilty Gaming Pleasures
Horrible games are always made and flop all the time. But sometimes people might actually like the said game that flopped. Or, perhaps there is a game out there that is suited for children and not for a older person but maybe some of the older gamers might enjoy playing it. My question to you is are you guilty of this? If so, what game(s) are you guilty of liking?
I'm actually guilty of this as I have been enjoying TMNT. The game is so easy it's not even funny, but it brings back memories of being young so I have to play it. |

Eh, where I work has a LAN with 16 computers that have various multiplayer games on it. And since I'm the head technician over that I'm content with what I get to do.
Could be worse, you could be playing one of those Leisure Suit Larry games or Playboy: The Mansion. XD |

That game got owned though. Silly little developers not knowing that one of the girls was still underage. I know a rental store that still rents that game out as well. XD
Which did you ever have the really weird people come in when you worked at whichever store you worked at? |
Well there is 1,Zelda its a game made for a 10 year old,but it's great fun,I still find it funny that they never change the story much, its as simple as ,Find out your link the hero of time save Zelda and kill Ganondorf, all in time to go home and not get the princess,it the same as Mario but with better effects but all in all i like it. 8)

Bratz games, lol. I actually had fun playing it.
Have played Leisure Suit Larry and Playboy the Mansion. They were fun! |
I actually downloaded Cake Mania from Pogo  I dunno what it was about the game but its fun
|
I'd have to say Sims 2.
Or just The Sims in general. xD I can relax while playing it, and it's super friggin addictive. |

topo- Lawl, me and the people I work with made a staff pick with one of the Bratz games for a friend that wasn't working at the time. And no comment on the last two games mentioned. XD;; Tatiana- Sadly enough, I've thought about playing that. Yuun- I used to play that game all the time. Then I got lazy. XD |
Let's seeeee:
SNES: Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage: I played that game like a madman. I probably invested 300-some hours into that bastard, easily. It was a typical sidescrolling brawler with Venom and Spidey and it had a few merits (such as a dozen some different superhero-assists, and a cutscene with MJ in her undies), but it was a pretty frustrating, derivative game. Still, it kept me entertained enough to keep at it until I finally beat it a couple times. Alien vs. Predator: I love the arcade version of it, but the SNES version was GOD AWFUL. And I still beat it. Granted, I had like 5 games and I used cheats on it, but I still beat it. Gameboy: Super Mario Land: Not the one with Wario (that's not a guilty pleasure, it's just a pleasure), the first one. It was a pretty pisspoor Mario game, but I'd still choose it over the crappy DS New Super Mario Bros. any day. Star Trek: The Next Generation: Annoyingly difficult with no real ending that I could detect, but it was something to do on long trips. Plus, once I figured out how to beat the Borg, I felt like God. N64: NFL Blitz: I hate sports games, but I really enjoyed this one for some reason. Probably because there were really no rules and I was rather vicious with my "plays". PSX: Bushido Blade 2: This is actually a rather fun game, but it's hard to convince anyone it's fun until you force them to play it. Basically, it's a 3-D samurai dueling game with realistic damage. Basically, you get a hit in, you win. Unless, you nick their arm or leg and gimp it up. I can't tell you HOW many rounds we'd play that lasted 10 seconds, or the ones that took 20 minutes because one of us would run around like a wuss rather than face off xD It's actually a rather fun game and worth buying, if only for novelty. PS2: Lupin III: Treasure of the Sorceror King: It's really a pretty bad game. The first half plays like a toned down Splinter Cell stealth game and the second half plays like a toned down action/adventure Tomb Raider type game, but there's so much little Lupin moments that just makes me love this enough to break it out once a year or so. Costume changes, pickpocketing, and good ol' Zenigata. I dunno. There was a lot that needed working on, but I'd love to play a sequel. X-Men: The Official Game: Terrible. But I loved Nightcrawler's levels like none other. Bamfing around, pummeling opponents and bamfing away ... ah .... it's too bad Wolverine and Iceman's levels were SO HORRIBLE (Wolverine: punch, punch, punch, punch, get killed for no discernable reason, start over, repeat. Iceman: dodge, dodge, fire, fire, fire; they were like online minigames). |
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. 8D <3
Oh man. That game is like over 10 years old. But for some reason, I love it to pieces. xD; The pixelated-ness of it is awesome. Lol. <3 |
