|
My favorite is defiantly probably frontline:fuel of war :] i think its a great game
|
I have several favorites, which I shall list:
-Pokemon series -Legend of Zelda; Wind Waker -Final Fantasy VI -Golden Sun -MySims -Animal Crossing -Kingdom Hearts I & II |
Favorite game? Like of all time? Definitely has to be Psychonauts. I've played that game over a dozen times and it just doesn't get old. I mean, you get to poke around in people's heads! How cool is that?
Oh and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Don't know why that's my favorite out of the series but it is. |
Hmm I can't decide between Devil May Cry 3 or Final Fantasy VII. They were both amazing games =]
|
Oh this is an easy one! Sort of...
I've always been a big pokemon fan xD |
I have so many I enjoy. D: For the Ps1 I would have to say FF7, its amazing for its time, and the first 3d FF to come out. The storyline is gripping and has the most amazing music! specialy the one winged angel, has to be Nobous best song ever! For the Ps2 I would have to say God of war. I loved that game so much. The grapics on the game where beautiful the way they depicted accent greece and its gods where fantastic. The music was amazing, and the storyline and gameplay was gripping. I do have so many other games I love also. (: |
I'm currently in love with the Silent Hill games. I've played 3, 4, and Origins and they're just so atmospheric. I like how they don't rely on *jump from a corner to shock you!* scares. The music in them is wonderful, and they're the only game soundtracks I'd buy.
I also rather like the Metal Gear Solid games. I just... can't take those too seriously. XD |
Favorite video game?
Definately Zelda 3. But Tales of Symphonia, Suikoden 1, and Monster Rancher 4 are all very close to my heart. MR4 being where I got my username. |
Oh, my favorite video game?
Chrono Cross! I really love that game! I've finished it twice! Well, my brother says it was a bit for him. *swt* I have no idea why he said that. I was never bored while playing it! Of course, I will be bored with it if I played it for the last three hundred and sixty-five times now wouldn't I? XD  |
my fav video games are mortal kombat , Mario ,street fighter,
|
I tend to choose favorites based on visual appeal, unique storyline, or a certain brand of 'quirk' that appeals to the twisted side of me. In that vein...
1. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings And The Lost Ocean, gamecube. If you do nothing else in your life but buy this freaking game, you will have made your waste of the earth's resources a reasonable trade for the good you have done. Yes, its battle runs on a temporarily confusing card system. Yes, its voiceacting (for the english port) is THE worst job you have EVER heard called 'professional' and will inevitably cause you to burst into laughter at the absolute worst times. It doesn't matter. This game is freaking beautiful. Few games can touch the places this game has gone with unique, yet somehow tangible clothing design and gorgeous setting. Also, the amount of background detail, in terms of various moires, old legends, culture characteristics and the like in the item and battle cards literally transcends from the amazing to the ridiculous. 2. Okage: Shadow King, PS2. It's cheap, c'mon. You can afford this one. Despite the ridiculously quick play-through, and all the signs of this being a 'first' RPG (useless sidequests, unhelpful items, cheap gimmicky boss fights ahoy) this game's unique, simultaneously ridiculously charming and slightly unsettling graphic design cannot be denied. The monster gathering brings to mind the mindblowing crazy colorful meld from Sega's NIGHTS Into Dreams. Also, the storyline is a masterful twist of storybook, biting sarcasm, flagrant teasing of every RPG cliche, cynicism, and sudden startling depth for a few moments, through which runs a faint, sepia thread of old photo albums that hold that one faded portrait of the romance you cannot quite recall--but can still smell when you light a candle. Plus it's got Epros, the rhyming phantom. Shoot yeah. 3. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, gamecube. If holy authorities were represented by videogame personages, Ike, commander of the Greil Mercenaries, would be Jesus. Ike is Jesus. Are you getting what I'm saying here. IKE IS FREAKING VIDEO GAME JESUS DO YOU REALLY NEED ANY MORE CONVINCING TO BUY THIS FREAKING GAME As if you actually needed more REASONS, the game's storyline has a delicious blend of bigotry, political poison, racial tension, hate, and oh yeah some sort of feel-good friendships too NO WAIT NEVERMIND THEY ALL BROKE APART LULZ. The group you lead and keep together (just barely) is a good blend of all sorts of ideals, from the self-serving to the noble elite, and the end result is not the trap many RPGS fall into in terms of "hail hail gang's all here, okay we filled our character quota"; rather, you end up with a lot of unique personalities dredging through the difficulties of being low swords-for-hire in difficult times, faced with decisions they really weren't prepared to make, and kept together by selfish and characteristic reasons. It feels nice and earthy, without being deadly cynical. Plus Ike is Jesus. 4: Tales of Symphonia, gamecube. Not going to even start on the list of reasons to buy this game, but they involve strikingly deep philosophical notes behind a simple, pure story, Yuan, crazy plot twists, Yuan, epic cooking quests, Yuan, an awesome battle system for the RPG genre to please start using more often and Yuan. (Also Kratos, who are we kidding-he's the reason half the female fans play the game.) |
Fave Game is...
1. Devil May Cry-ps2 2. Tony Hawk's Project 8 [skatin game]-ps2 3. Tekken5-ps2 4. harvest moon: wonderful life-ps2 |
My favorite video game is the legend of Zelda; twilight princess. I'm honestly addicted. I got grounded from the wii for my math grade and I almost cried.
|
My favorite videogame is really Guitar Hero! I'm a kind af a nerd in that game! I always play in expert and I'm done with hard and on one of the latest songs in expert!

Re: What's your favorite video game?
Me and my brother are huge fans of Final Fantasy. we've played all of them, and like everyone of them. I would say that my favorite from the series is #9, but my favorite villain is Sephiroth from #7. I think they need to remake both games with modern graphics, voice acting, and maybe even extra content (e.g. side quests, items, unimportant locations, ect.)
I'm not sure if I could really pick between those games though.. #8 had a great battle system, a (i think) better world map, and a good summon set up. #7 had a great villain, better (again, personal opinion) main characters, and a more involved plot. #8's main characters were comparable to mercenaries, which was fine, except that it lost a little bit of the "this is important to me" feeling that FF7 had. #7 had a great villain, but it didn't compare to FF8 for how you set up/customized the characters. again, this is about any game you like, past or present. just say what game and explain why you like it so much. if you want to talk to others about their choice, go ahead. this is a question that cant be answered without thinking it through. |
1.)Silent Hill 2
2.)Devil May Cry 3 3.)Metal Gear Solid 3 4.)Resident Evil 4 5.)Final Fantasy VIII But overall... The Silent Hill series is pretty much my favorite series of all time. |
My favorites are Kingdom Hearts and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
|
One word: EarthBound. The music, the story, the game play, all of these things make up a game of epic proportions.
|
The Guardian Legend for NES.
Always has been. Always will be. The gameplay, music, and visuals are all flawless. Some of my other favorities are Life Force, Contra (no shit), Super C, Gradius 2, Super Metroid, Mega Man 2, Blaster Master, and Soul Reaver 2. |
My favorite video game is Mike Tyson's Punch Out even though I can't beat Tyson. xD
|
I love all of the Zelda series, Link is my childhood idol. x3
|
I don't have an all-time favorite, but some of my top choices are Grandia, The Legend of Dragoon, and Shadow Hearts: Covenant.
|
I'm really not much of a video game person. Only a few games have ever been able to hold my interest for any amount of time.
Tetris. I obsessed over that game as a kid after I got my first Gameboy. GTA 3 was also really fun, but I only liked playing it on the PC. With 4 out now, I kind of want to get 3 back out and play it again. |
My all time favorite game would be Illiusion of Time on the Super Nintendo, for a a few main reasons, 1. the story is just gripping, 2. the gameplay is simpleand effective and 3. and where do you see a piglet sacrifice it'self to feed a village of starving natives and children.
