Instant Messaging Systems
What's your instant messaging system of choice? The more common ones are "google talk", "yahoo", "MSN", and "AIM". I prefer MSN, because I can use it on pretty much all the computer's I use. What do you prefer and why? You can also select Trillian, GAIM, ICQ, among others.

I used to use Trillion for Aim, Yahoo and msn but I never used the ICQ or the 5th option. Eventually I got rid of it and use AIM primarily and sometimes I use Yahoo messenger.

Yahoo and Msn. If there's no yahoo or msn on a computer, I use meebo.com. xD

i use Yahoo, AIM, and MSN.
Yahoo likes to fuck up on my computer and shut itself down, so I'm almost never on there. Not like I have any friends on there anyways. :P MSN I'm always on, but I'm always on invisibly. I don't talk to too many people there, and most of the people I DO talk to are kind of annoying and/or creepy. So as such, AIM is my default messaging system. It was the first I knoew of, all my friends are on it, and... I just like it. The away message is almost always up, but I'm on 24/7. |
I used to use Yahoo like... two years ago. But the people I talked to on there are no longer my friends anyway so I don't use it. That and it's really slow and annoying. I liked the doodle thingy.
I prefer to use MSN over anything else, but I'll use AIM occasionally. Never had ICQ or anything else. |
I have Trillian and use MSN and AIM, mostly. :) Very rarely YIM, and sometimes IRC. ^_^

I use Trillian, or meebo on computers that don't have Trillian. I have at least one account each on AIM, MSN, Yahoo and ICQ, but the only ones I regularly sign onto are Yahoo and AIM.

Got most of my friends on my MSN account, I only use AIM for American faggos and ICQ/QQ for Asian bums. XD Why can't they all just get MSN? D: < |
;D I don't have any messengers at all. xD I haven't had one since 2005, I think. xD They are so useless to me, so like, it's just not needed for me. xD :shock: :? There are plenty of other ways to keep in contact with people. xD

I used to use trillian... I don't feel it's necessary anymore. I used to use a lot of different chats... Right now I stick to Aim and Yahoo. Sometimes I use Meebo if I want to be on both at once.

I used to use Trillian for IRC, AIM, and MSN, but it kept screwing up on me. So BAH!

I use msn and yahoo a lot. When I'm at work though so I can still chat online to my friends, I'll go on e buddy. Works everytime |
I use MSNM mainly now. (School/online friends, the majority at least, have it and use it).
I've grown out of AIM especially, but pop on it occasionally to speak to American friends. I had Yahoo for a short period, but really didn't use it at all. |

Anyways, I like to use YIM. Occasionally I'll use AIM to talk to a friend of mine. I think MSNM sucks in my opinion. I don't really know why, I just don't like it. :shock: |
I use WLM,TALK, and AIM the most... but i just have trillian pro. So that lets me use all the messangers at once :P

As sad as it may sound, I generally only ever really use the Gmail thing, since all of my friends have gmail accounts. xD;
But I've got an AIM account. I just don't use it because I don't have any friends that do. |
I'm on a Mac, and so I use Adium, but my messaging protocol of choice is MSN, simply because most of the people I have contact with are using that as well. I know there is Messenger for Mac but that simply, er, sucks in comparison to the very wonderful freeware Adium on my mac; besides, using Adium gives me the flexibility to instant message using other protocols should I need/choose to in future.

I mostly just stick with AIM.
I'm use to it, and for some reason YiM and my compy just hate each other. I've never been a fan of MSN so I never use it. |
i use GAIM or something to that effect. i can be signed in to MSN and YIM at the same time, and it shows them in the same window, so its pretty awesome.XD

I basically stopped using AIM, Yahoo, GAIM, Trillian, etc. I use meebo when those IMs are necessary. otherwise I stick to MSN messenger. i'm starting to reuse hotmail, after 2 years of gmail and 3 months of yahoo. XD
