I give up and try again later. Sometimes I look at online guides or cheats but not often.

If all manner of strategy guide or reformulating or trying and trying again fails me, then the game was clearly intended for someone much more asian than myself and my caucasian genes are simply incapable of surmounting it, at which point it gets turned off and sorrowfully stored away. ;o;
Playing stuff with an emulator is sweet, though. :3 Successful hit? Save your game! Get injured? Load your game and dodge this time! :3 Yey unfairness. <3 Though some of the older system games can get so crazy I don't see how anyone could get through otherwise. x_x

I usually don't run into that problem much... but when I do I just memorize what they do when I do something and do it again.. that or take a nap, then do it again, they say your brain will try to figure out problems in your sleep and if you play a game, get stuck, go to sleep, you might actually be able to beat something easier when you get up. strange, but it's helped me.

I cheat. Plain and simple.

I feel the need to punch something in the face, or throw my DS at a wall. I usually just stop playing it for awhile, a week, maybe even a month, and then go back to it when I'm calm and cool.

I just started playing Pokemon Red Rescue Team again. I was on the Sky tower level, where you have to go through 25 dungeon levels, then go up one flight of stairs before reaching a save point. My team is level 30-35, and the enemies are level 28-30, so I felt I would win.

Upon entering the first time, my butt was whooped on level 12, but I tried around four more times. All those four times I got to level 25 of the dungeon, before some pokemon killed me or my buddy in on move. You could tell I was pissed. To make matters worse, the last time I played, I got to level 25, three steps from the stairs, when a monster used agility, and got in my face and killed me. I stopped playing that game, or else I'd have thrown it twenty feet in my ten foot long room.

I just started playing it again, and it's been around a month since I last played, I'm hoping I can kick some pokemon butt, now that I'm calmer XD

I usually level up my characters before facing a boss so I never had trouble beating one.

I tend to turn off my console before I die so I don't have to see it. I'll level up, try again, and do this two or three times until I'm so flustered and angry I can't take it anymore. Sometimes I throw the controller down on my bed or couch and scream obscenities at the TV...haha. For instance, I have not the coordination and reaction times to win avatar battles in .hack//GU and I tend to die a lot in those.

No game has ever made me so mad, not even Grandia 3...and bosses in that would really make me mad! D:< Although in between battles, it was a fun game.

I go off and level when I can't beat a boss...
but if that still doesn't work, I put the game down and come back to it. Usually when I get back to it it's months later so I have to try and remember what to do and where I am XD
I play FFXI a lot, so I usually don't play other games often, I don't really have time.
But what really gets me mad, is when I get back to the game after months, and first try I beat the boss. But then I'm laughing at the same time XD

When I get ot the part where I am fighting the boss, I try my hardest. If I die before the boss does, I get super upset. I was playing Super Mario Advacne for the Gaem Boy Advance on my Super Gameboy for the Gamecube. I got upset when I almost killed the boss, and then I die and I have to start all the way from the beginning. As it only saves everytime you kill a boss.

I was so upset. I was like yelling and compalining to the screen when I just finalyl gave up and turned my Gamecube/Gameboy Advacne off.

Oh, I would just tighten the grip on my controller or slam my hand on my computer desk(my Ps2 is right next to the computer), I try not to play things that would get me ticked off since I have anger issues. However when I was first trying to play Castlevania Symphony of the night, the first pair of bosses(the spear bird thingy and flying creature) just annoyed the living crap out of me due to I just could not kill one of them fast enough before it just kicked my ass in. I tend to go off leveling up trying to pent my anger off at lesser enemies, it helps. Also if best if I can save my game, go do a less stressful game. Sometimes puzzle games would make me start cussing, just due to sometimes I don't get something until the timer runs out. Oh my god, I hate those moments. Also if I can find one that I understand I go look for a stragety(sp?) to beat something or figure out something.

Scream a lot, consult strategy guides, and scream some more. Er... that's about it, really.

bang my head against the wall, throw the controler, scream and shout out my frustraition, walk away to play another day,you name it I've probably done it but lately i've gotten better you see i found this wonderful thing called gamwfaqs and if i get stuck now I tend to just go to my computer and start looking up the current boss i am unable to beat and sigh as I realize that the reason he/she/it was beating me was mostly because I hadn't leveled properly and now would have to spend hours apon hours leveling. lol

I usually try a few times then if I cant beat him I'll go to gamefaqs and see what level I should be at,what I should do and then I will go train and go back to kill the meanie lol

I get angry and try to stop myself from chucking the controller across the room. Luckily, I haven't thrown one yet. Then I take a break and go check out some guides for the game to see if there is a trick to beating the boss. Or, if I really want to just get passed it and get on with the game, I'll ask my boyfriend to beat the boss for me. xD

A lot of times it's not even a boss that causes me to die. xD If I get to a hard part, I'll keep trying for several more times before I quit out of frustration. I'll resume it at a later time. xD

Hahaha! Silly you say this beause just today this happened to me..in 2 games. D:
I had been trying to get past this Boss in Wild Arms 5, and after 3 tries I got my butt pwned, I started mumbling swear words at my PS2. o_0"
Seriously I was like..
"WTF, why is that even in there if you can't beat it? I'm going to through you in the ------- trash can if you don't let me ------- beat it you bag of d--che.." D:<
I tried again.
And I failed. D:>
So I'm like "YOU KNOW WHAT, SCREW THIS, YOU NOOBCAKE I MEAN WTF!?!?" then I politely save my game and SMACK the power button, then I usually throw something at my controller, PS2 or TV..mind you it's something soft like a plushie or a pillow, then I rant and stomp out of my room. Halfway down the stairs I realize "Where the hell am I going..? o_0" And return to my room.

But thats only for drastic matters.
Today I couldn't get past a labyrinth level, so I went to a game walkthrough. :3

BHAAHA. I'm such a cheater. Dx
I do that on alot of my games.
I only spazz out at bosses or hard fights - which no amount of walkthroughs will help me defeat..

The next day I try again and get it in my first shot and I'm all happy again. :'D

stop playing the game for a few hours/days/months. xD

I never swear at games. Maybe in my head, but not out loud. ;0

I give up...try again...give up...try again. I got stuck on the first boss of FFXII.. THE FIRST BOSS!! Gahhhhh! As you can see, I'm still frustrated/angry about it. I actually did give up on it and haven't played it since. x3 But that's mostly because I have to completely start the game over to stock up on supplies. : S I'm hoping that will help... Stupid flaming horse.... *grr*

hehe, i usuall screams out loud!...my second option is to throw something soft(because it wont make sound, if it makes a sound ill be scold by my mum and gets angrier... XD ) to the wall as hard as i can...

(The Beauty and the Best section of Kingdom hearts 2 was horrible. I didn't want Mickey to come and help me. *such a failure!*)

I hate when that happens. Usually when it does happen, I just take a break and try again tomorrow. No need to pressure myself in beating him once.

Usually, I slam the controller down and get on the internet.

However, I'm solo-touring on Rock Band right now (basically, playing Guitar Hero with different songs) and I can't get past Suffragette City. So I take the guitar controller by the headstock and pretend-smash it, shout off some curses to David Bowie, and head for practice mode, periodically wandering off to go soak my hand in warm water.

If it still just doesn't die I'll probably give up, accidentally forget about the game for a year and that year later come back to it and somehow beat the boss.

I personally play through the hard parts of a game until I beat it,providing that my interest is ignited. If I was already losing interest in the game then I'll probably end up putting the game down and maybe coming back for it, but if its something I'm enjoying, Ill play up until I force myself to go to bed and try again the next day.

Bosses don't phase me mutch *queen of leveling up* but some times the puzzles drive me insane... like walking on an invisable floor, I cna never remember where I am on it...
