Eternal Sonata. Recommend?
 

Ok so I was watching X-play and they mentioned Eternal Sonata and gave it a 3/5 I think. I thought it looked better and wanted opinions from people who might have played it. So anybody recommend it or dislike it? If there's already a forum about this just post a link and I'll check that out instead.

Until the Xbox 360 got the Red Ring of Death and we had to take it back to the store and get a new one, I was almost done with Eternal Sonata.

If you're in it for the story, I don't recommend it. It's not only sometimes boring, but it's kind of bland and predictable.

But the characters are nice, and the music is wonderful, and if you like colorful games, it sure is colorful.

The battle system is awesome. It's ever-changing, so you don't get burnt out on the same, repetitive crap. It evolves little by little, making it not only more challenging but interesting as well. I can't say the enemies are amazing, but yeah, the battle system is pretty cool.

X Play is hardly a credible game rating source anymore. It's about making jokes and being dumb now, more than it is really rating games. They give A LOT of games 3/5. They give every Metroid game 3/5 SOLELY because it is Metroid.

Eternal Sonata looks pretty good, it looks like something I'd like but I'm not totally sure about how good it is, since I haven't really looked at any other reviews.

Yeah, I'll agree. XPlay isn't exactly the best source. They gave FFXII 5/5 and I really don't think it's as great as many other games I've played, and those games get really low ratings on that show.

I'd like to see what jokes they made about Eternal Sonata though. >>;

I heard about this game too. the graphics look awesome and the charters look adorable. I reccamond you to get. Oh the joy of having a xbox. T^T I don't have a xbox.
