The Biggest Videogame Nerds EVER Thread!
Okay, so I admit the fact that I am a TOTAL Gamer Dork.
Seroiusly, I joined and participate in Gamers Forums. I miss MEALS and neglect Homework by just sitting infront of the TV or computer for hours on end playing and gaming. I enjoy looking up hacks or cheats on youtube then immediately trying them out on my game. I feel the biggest happiness when I find out a new glitch all by myself, or finish a game, or get to a new level. My room is literally overlowing with games.. Not to mention all my Videogame Posters on the wall. I have alot of FFX-2 Scrolls.. :P I'm such a gamer. :3 How about you? Discuss: - Gaming - How you're a dork? - Am I a dork? I'm not as big of a gamer as my husband is. He's the one that loves to play games! In fact is is currently sitting in our living room right now playing Zelda: Twilight Princess on Gamecube. I like to watch him play and I help him out with the walkthroughs and things like that. I do play a few games. I'm currently playing Raving Rabbits on my DS and wishing for a Wii for Christmas. My sister has one and boy are they fun! My favorite game to play has to be the Guitar Hero series. I have finished 1 and 2 on Hard and most of the way through on Expert, only a few songs left to go. Currently playing 80's version that I borrowed from my sister and am getting the wireless guitar bundle of the 3rd one for my birthday this month. Another great game is Kingdom Hearts. The story line is great and I love the interaction with the Disney characters. Hubby and I are currently playing the 2nd one when not enthralled with Zelda. And yes, we even played the Chain of Memories game before moving on to the second. If anyone has a PSP, I would like to reccommend Death Jr. It's a fun little game starring Deaths son. Haha, you're husband sounds like an awesome guy! xD I've only tryed playing Zelda once. (Couldn't really get into the story line..) Ooh! A wii. I hear they're really fun..Though people say "Oh you'll loose weight playing wii!" I don't believe that. I mean first off - you're not excersizing, you're just moving your arms. Thats not even much movement. o.o Also, you're only playing like, for 30 minutes or so..I doubt someone would play wii for over half an hour. (Well..I know I would..but I'm a dork that way..) LoL. I played that new Guitar Hero's game before it came out, at an anime convention. Man did I SUCK! D: I phailed (With a P H) on NOVICE!! D: People were taking pictures of me. Seriously, thats how lame I was. D: Funny how I can be so good in something as similar as DDR yet so bad with GH. I'm not very good in finger-eye coodernation.. Ah well, nonetheless though, its a fun game! xD I don't have a PSP (T^T) The only portable game console I have is a Gameboy Colour. :3 YUH. I hate these 'new' lame excuses for gameboys. Nintendo DS Gameboys..PFSH. They're basically the same thing as a Colour only you have a pencil as a move button and its fold-able..(And maybe slightly better graphics.) BUT STILL. Colour rocks hard. Now, let me start off by saying that I have never EVER played World of Warcraft...I just can't wrap my poor rot'd brain around the concept of monthly payments for a game one has already purchased @[email protected] Well, then... I am a HUGE Nintendo nerd X3 My dad raised me on the NES and I'm currently a rabbid Wiitard. My favorite game series are Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy. I'd have to say I'm most comfortable playing RPGs...just all that grinding, it makes me feel accomplished X3 And I recently applied to a GameStop uptown. Anything I've left out? X3 |
Twilight Princess is a long game! He's already been playing 20 some hours and still has a lot of story line left!
I've played Raving Rabbits on my sister's Wii, that was alot of fun! Making SuperRabbit fly and tossing a cow around.. fun times, fun times. I really enjoy my DS. I just wish some of the games where more pencil active. Some of them you use the controls just like a regular game boy. Some other fun music type games are Mad Maestro where you play a kid named Tackt, who is gathering musicians to save the concert hall. For the game play you press the "x" button on the PS2 controler in time with the beat as if you were conducting! Another one I like, Is Donkey Konga, where you get to play the bongos with Donkey Kong. I have the game where you play songs, but I think my favorite one is Jungle Beat where you follow a story line and use the bongos to make Donkey actually move. |

Yes, I'm a game nerd x3 I have a big collection of video games for the computer, the ps2 and the GameCube... x3 I play Twilight Princess on GameCube at the moment. I sit in front of my GameCube and won't move for 2 days x3 only for sleeping...hehehehe I'm also playing WoW and played FFXI Online for a long time... but it's no fun anymore now... .__. |
I think I have my brothers to either blame for, or thank for, me being a video game nerd. <3 When I was in Preschool, or maybe Kindergarden, I would always sit down in front of the TV with them and watch them play their NES. <3 That was back when we could rent NES games from the libary, mind you. Ever since then, I loved video games, and I would always love to watch my brothers play them, may they be on the computer, or on the Nintendo, or some other syestem.
Now, I can't get enough of 'em. It just really burts my bubble, though, when boys think that girls can't play video games, and then they find out that I'm better than they are. XD Right now, though, I can't even count how many games I currently own... Probably 45 for the Game Cube, about 4 for the Wii, 28 for the Gameboy and DS, and I won't even start of the Super Nintendo and N64... In other words, I would say well over 100. =) But, I think it's only for the best that I love them so much; I want to be a character designer for Nintendo when I grow up. <3 |

I would like to try WOW, it looks kinda fun. Unfortunately I don't have the right video card or broadband for my computer. What is with paying each month for a game you already bought also? I mean come on! Is it to help pay for bandwidth or something? Also about how much a month does it cost, does any one know? |
