Castlevania

Anyone play this awesome series?
What games have you played?
Who's your favorite character?
Why?

I've played Castlevania, Auper Castlevania IV, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. My favorite character is Simon Belmont because he's in the best CV game ever: Super Castlevania IV.

i LOVE the castlevania series, personally my all time favorite was Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest, i kinda grew up playing that one and unlocking little bits and pieces over the course of time that my uncle couldn't figure out.

the other truly -amazing- ones in my opinion are, Symphony of the Night, Lament of Innocence, Order of Ecclisia, and Curse of Darkness.

I personally think that my all time Favorite character would probably be Alucard... mainly for his tragic storyline. that and he can really whomp on enemies

I think I've played the game a few years ago on a GBA simulator...I didn't really get far into the game though, and I have no idea which game it was that I'd played. All I know is that the character I was playing had long white hair and used a whip to hit his enemies.

I have "Castlevania Lament of Innocence." That's the only one that i've played sofar. I love the art's of those games, it's so awsome! I still want to play the other one's that they have out, but i never had enough money to buy them and the game books that came with them. (Ha ha, i cheat.)

Fave character? Hmm, it'd have to be Leon Belmont. He's a just person, that's looking for his beloved...And even after she dies, he still doesn't give in to the evil. It's a sad gripping story, and i hope to play more of the Castlevania series games.

I still love Castlevania 64, and the sequel (I forgot the name.).
I really want to play it, but my friend still has my Nintendo 64.
Carrie was my fave, I played as her alllll the time! Magic bullets FTW! Lol.
Those are the only two Castlevania games I have ever played. XD

 To me Castlevania 64 was so nerve wracking. The one part especially that drove me batty was where I believe you had to climb this huge tower of crystals. I think, it's been a long time. But I died so many times on that part that it was frustrating. ... But I still used to play it all the time though. :P

Gah, the part that always got me was at the very beginning where you had to climb up the tiled blocks jutting out of the cliff wall. At the bottom was an acid river. :o
I made it only half of the time. XD
My dad used to play it all the time, and he made it to the end once. I remember that bull thing, I hated that thing soooooo much, it scared the crap out of me.
Then Frankenstein with the chainsaw, I had night mares about him. XP

*laughs* Oh yeah... I died on that cliff so many times too. The camera was wonky. I've beaten the game a few times, with both the girl and the guy. I forget their names. The girl with easier to work with though as you could attack from a distance.
