My friend still plays, I stopped at level 53 though...

i sign up played for liek 4 hours then never got bacc on. my cuzzo plays that alot though.

I played it in middle school, my account had 65mil on it when I quit... I made a str pure and went on pk trips with my lobs and rune scims :D I think I got him to level 99 but never broke the triple digits haha

Anyways, I hate that game now so I told Jagex that my account password had been stolen and they locked it up for me :P

Wow, I haven't played Runescape in forever XD I was really into it when I was in middle school, primarily. I joined back when all of the characters were still flat, there was no tutorial for new players, and the choice of free server was 1-12 or so.

I was never anything impressive XD I mostly worked on building up my skills, and so while I never owned any really rare items, I became a rather accomplished miner and blacksmith, and got pretty decent at fishing, too, I think. I was somewhere around combat level 67 when I quit playing.

It was great fun for me when I had a lot of time to put into it, but now, I can't really spend the time to play for long periods anymore. Sometimes if I have a dull night, I'll log on just to see if my account's been hacked or anything, and maybe mine a few coal lumps, but I don't think I've played any significant amount in at least 6 years ^^;

I used to play a fewish (1-2 years) years ago. When I was about 11-12. I'm 14 now. I was obsessed with it. It was actually my first MMORPG. I remember the first night I played it, I was using Dial-up AOL, and it took FOREVER to load the thingy at the startup screen.

When I finally did get to play it, I think I stayed up until about 6AM playing it. I was really into it for a while, and even became a member at one point.

Slowly my interest dwindled and I stopped playing it regularly. My best skill was mining, which I never lost interest in doing. Now when I play, all I do is mine rune essence and sell it. I've built up more money than I ever did when I play it regularly, albeit not much. Only around 40k, my record.

I still like to play it occasionally now and then just to mine. I want to get my mining high :3 Though soon I'll have to level my strength up to be able to equip a rune pick ax >_>

I totally forgot about the whole picking a starting class thing when you make a new character XD It was so long ago.

But yeah, graphics-wise, the environment was 3D, albeit a bit less refined-looking than the new Runescape. The characters and NPC's and monsters and all, though, were flat. When you rotated the camera around, it'd look like you were moving around a cardboard cutout until you reached a point where it would change the graphic to a 3/4 or side or rear view instead. Worked well enough, but the new graphics definitely look much better XD

I remember there was some guy who asked you what class you wanted to be and I think I chose cook. I couldn't find out how to get out of Lumbridge so I almost quit

I played runescape once but then i died and got bored so i just went back to diablo 2 lol

I ended at lvl 37. I dont like runescape lol

I used to play like a year and a half ago. I was a member. It was fun! I made it to like level 75 and decided to quit playing. It got so old after a while. And the people only got more retarded over time.
